You ever notice how if you cut up the holy knights they essentially become like Buggy, at least if your haki is strong enough?
What if this isn’t merely a coincidence. Given how Buggy is a yonko and is suggested to be very important in the finale, what if he actually has a clone of Imu’s DF?
Perhaps an imperfect clone or a DF that is very similar?
In any case if Buggy will stand alongside Luffy, Shanks, and Teach, it’s not unreasonable to think he could get some sort of hax power up, even if he remains a weakling. After all, we’ve seen numerous weakling characters with hax powers, there’s really no reason why EoS Buggy needs to be fodder by pre-skip standards or even by dressrosa standards.
Also if Buggy could grant immortality like Imu does, it could possibly lead to Crocodile and Mihawk getting power ups. The latter doesn’t really need it, but him being an immortal would fit with his vampire theme. I could also see Mihawk rejecting immortality(possibly due to a connection with Imu?) with the other members of CG getting it. This could help with giving a power up to Crocodile and other CG members. They probably wouldn’t even be controlled by Buggy like the HKs are by Imu, as Buggy lacks strong haki himself.
