I feel we might not be prepared for just how far Oda will wank his Shanks.
@Fujishiro @Shiroyru
@soupongo @Monster Zoro's Tesla Supplier I could see Oda having Loki reveal in the upcoming Imu fight that Shanks used a dirty trick to apprehend him and stop him from attacking the Holy Land, but if it doesn’t happen here, I think it’ll be pretty silly to argue that Shanks did cheat and that Oda’s just waiting an unusually long among of time to reveal it. Loki just randomly revealing it during the end of arc party would be really out of place and I don’t even see what would be the catalyst for that reveal to happen

The narrative will give us the answer when the Loki/Shanks plotline comes up, revealing the nature of their conflict, interactions, relationship etc. The focus is now on Imu. It would be bizarre to go on with the details between those two, when Imu is on the scene, which is obviously unprecedented. lt will be revealed directly through Loki´s words, or a flashback from either of their perspectives. This isn´t really a crazy take, and it´s not like anyone has changed the goalpost here.

It’d be more respectable tbh if you just admitted that the main reason you believe that there was some funny business is purely because of powerscaling reasons. Why would Loki randomly reveal in the end of Elbaf party that Shanks cheated? What would be the point of Oda doing that?
It'd be incredibly inconsistent for the scaling if Shanks beat him fairly, yes, but it's also just weird for them to lie about everything except Shanks beating him.

shanks used talk no jutsu and loki was just bullshitting

Season 4 Episode 2 of Invincible is one of the most unexpectedly hilarious things I've ever seen. Even funnier than the little I saw from the comics.
I can't believe such a gritty, edgy show can be this funny/witty.

I can't recommend it enough.

Sigh, we still have some cats still doing this?

It's clear as day that shanks > rodger.

Oda literally has to have a character surpassing rodger since rodger isn't alive for luffys growth to be compared to. The person that is alive is shanks. I am also of the belieft that mihawk > rodger as well. Zoros ceiling is not Rayleigh and luffys ceiling is not rodger. These dudes will be surpassing joyboy and ryuma respectively
