Furthermore there was also a “huge monster” attacking Government ships, it literally sounds like the WG had no idea what was going on in that area of the world lol, they had no intel at all

Who would they even send an Admiral against? “The mist?” Lol

Obviously Shanks might have gotten intel on something Loki or the WG was going to do... atleast I think.
Maybe Loki got tired and was going to attack MarineHQ or Mariejoie.
Maybe the WG got intel on Loki's location.
