Imu is Elbaph’s villain, after this arc he won’t be scary anymore, just like the Gorosei. The only one left is Blackbeard.

I genuinely don't mind that. We can see that he's extremely weak outside of his domain and incapable of leaving MJ for a long time. Perhaps Vivi and her lineage is a key to 'healing' Imu up?

Remember when Kizaru was Sabaody's antagonist and then was featured again for Egghead? You are thinking way too small for this series. Think bigger.

This is the endgame for the manga, its not "just" Blackbeard, its a myriad of factions all fighting for the same things:

Imu being showcased for Elbaph says nothing about his endgame relevance. Ironically we know more about Blackbeard's past and history this arc lol. All we know about Imu is his appearance and a small part of his powers.

Once again, his past comes with a flashback that cant happen until Laugh Tale, which tells you entirely he will not stop being relevent after this arc.
