So far I would say a solid 4/5 for One Piece/Shonen standards (the bar isn't high though). What I like is the fact that he is not portrayed as some invincible god. Spawned in Elbaf already coughing blood. The moment he appeared, he was very efficient in dealing with the straw hats and giants and reamping his knights. I also liked the fact he does hold his subordinates in some regard. Rather than punishing weakness, he lifts them up. While at the same time disposing of Saturn ruthlessly, given his acts were too profound (the Emeth/Joyboy's Haki case).
His abilities are versatile and expanded upon well, which is good in a manga that relied too much on Haki clashes lately. Looks wise it's fine, though nothing innovative.
Furthermore I like the fact how he dwells in memories, enjoys the fight and is even talkative in regards to his ideals and powers, rather than appearing totally enigmatic.
So i leave it at 4/5.
