I think that's what makes me lose enjoyment. It seems like that's what everyone has been doing and I guess it's because they're behaving just like IShowSpeed does.
Like, I understand where meme piece came from now. It was all just YouTube guys using viral clips for likes, and now that's what all the fans do. They're just copying the influencers.
My answer to this is dropping all popular culture, because that's what they use for content mining, and just reading stories that are too complicated for YouTube guys to care about.
Note: It's just addict behavior when you really look at it. "The hype" is a drug and people are acting like dry drunks because YouTubers glorify that kind of behavior.
