I believe that Oda thought king of hell was a cool mode to give to zoror to specify to us readers when he uses advance conq haki. The issue now is that I don't think Zoro will ever go over it. Oda has written zoro into a corner because he has all the powers of the elite of the serie minus the df but he's still lightyear behind the true top tiers. So Oda has to demonstrate to us that zoro is taking is haki mastery and his swordmanship overall into a whole new tier, a whole new level. I believe that's why we had the moment with Gaban and Zoro when he stated that he didn't know he had conq j-haki but that you need to know to properly exercice it
