G5 is Luffy's peak. I don't think he is getting another power up in Elbaf and it is also probable Imu defeats him. Zoro and Sanji are winning their Omen fight

Btw Zoro vs Evil Sanji is not to be ruled out yet, there is still hope

Luffy is 100% getting stronger between now and EoS though.
Him fighting as good as Loki vs Imu while the wings were one-shot is bad enough. It shows such a massive gap between them.
Beating 2 HK is a joke and doesn't make Sanji and Zoro leave this arc looking any better than last chapter.

To fight him as he is now, it takes Emperor level combatants.

The fact there is still this reaistance to Wings fighting Knights, after Imu gave said Knights an Omen, is just rooted in wishful thinking.

It’s just another case of fans of certain characters getting in over their heads. This is the same thing that led Zoro fans to believe that he’d fold King quickly before gunning to the rooftop and 2v1ing Kaido with Luffy

Zoro and Sanji are important but they aren’t that important nor are they strong enough to warrant opponents that the people here want

We don’t have to like it but Oda giving the Holy Knights a buff pretty much locked in the matchups. I’m supposed to believe that the Strawhats who already couldn’t handle the normal versions of the Holy Knights without help from Sanji are suddenly gonna defeat multiple Omen boosted ones?

Nah, Imu’s gonna summon multiple Gorosei (that he told to look after the Holy Land) or Shamrock (who’s confirmed to be busy) instead

Oda shouldn’t have put them in those positions in the first place but Sommers was constantly confronted by top tiers and Killingham got jumped by three Yonko Commanders. Without the Straw Hats them including Gunko would have solo’d Elbaph island which includes Dorry and Broggy who are arguably commander level themselves.

I think the main point is not even that they are (just) too weak, but its also anticlimatic

Like if i gave cabaji and mohji a 1000x boost that makes them even yonko level its still feels like an ass fight

I wish Oda would have let the Dori and Brogi domi reversi transformation longer and not conclude it that fast. I was very hyped about a Dori/Brogi vs Sanji/Zoro, it was the perfect opportunity.

Now we are stuck with Omen Sommers and Killingham. They sure should be stronger but their defeat now will not have be that much satisfying when they were already defeated once without too much struggle. If they are the wings opponents I guess Oda should give them a huge power boost otherwise it will be underwhelming.
