We don’t have to like it but Oda giving the Holy Knights a buff pretty much locked in the matchups. I’m supposed to believe that the Strawhats who already couldn’t handle the normal versions of the Holy Knights without help from Sanji are suddenly gonna defeat multiple Omen boosted ones?

Nah, Imu’s gonna summon multiple Gorosei (that he told to look after the Holy Land) or Shamrock (who’s confirmed to be busy) instead

And yet we're supposed to believe a Luffy who couldn't handle mentally nerfed Kizaru or couldn't do anything vs Imu's subordinate Warcury can suddenly fight Imu. If Luffy can improve or do better, so can the strawhats.
Killingham couldn't do shit vs Jimbe or Franky. Why is it hard to believe that they can beat him with an omen buff?

Zoro and Sanji are important but they aren’t that important nor are they strong enough to warrant opponents that the people here want

Well the winners of that ipotetic fight would have been always Sanji and Zoro. So it was another Jabra/Kaku or King/Queen situation since Dori and Brogi are equal. So the ending would reinforce again that there is no clear answer to who is stronger between Sanji and Zoro. Maybe I misunderstood your message?

Kaku was factually stronger

It wouldn’t be unrealistic for her to be able to defeat him with a PU. Like just see what Zoro and Sanji did with their PU in Wano compared to how they started the All Star fights. Or how insane Franky got from his PU. Honestly it’s more realistic than the HK suddenly becoming a fight for Zoro and Sanji imo.

Fans would extrapolate meaning from which Ogre appeared stronger in their respective fight and which Wing looked better and/or had an easier win, and so on.

Keeping them separate allows Oda to preserve both rivalries.

Except battlefield removal in this case means nothing. Robin did that to deactivate his ability

That’s not a valid option in a straight fight especially since we’ve seen that Super Sommers can Superman jump into the air

Sanji before his powerup was at least able to fight Queen. None of the Strawhats have showcased the ability to do anything to a Holy Knight in single combat

The Wano powerups didn’t have them go from getting stomped to winning. They were able to at least keep up with their opponents but they were on the backfoot and then with a powerup they won

Gunko took on some of the strongest strawhats at the same time and won handily. What powerup would change that against an even STRONGER Gunko (assuming she also received an Omen)
