Depends where the the rest of the story is going. A marine coup would take too much time I thimk

Nah there won’t be a coup, more like a last minute betrayal. Akin to like, Darth Vader throwing the Emperor down a hole.

I’m hoping each individual Admiral gets a one chapter 1v1 where they body a Gorosei. I would forgive many Oda transgressions if this were to happen.

I think Sakazuki and Luffy fight before he becomes PK, and in the second part of the final saga focused on the Joyboy stuff, he's more of an antihero who doesn't really want to go along with the grand cleansing, and he doesn't really have a connection to the Joyboy plot, since he's not really as into the slavery stuff as Imcel and probably Blackbeard.

If you think he has that energy for Imcel, why not Shanks?

Shanks is a pirate. Akainu hates all of them. Why did he just stand there after Shanks stopped him from summarily executing Koby and started yapping.

Is the one arm degenerate too sporting compared to a sick 76 year old with holes in his chest? :suresure:

It's really not that complicated Rumble, in the hypothetical future scenario, Imu is trying to flood the world to kill all the non Tennrybuto, which Sakazuki wouldn't agree with, and many Marines would probably die, even if he himself gets protection(?)

At MF, he may not like Shanks, but he isn't acting as a bad faith actor. He's telling everyone to stop fighting, including the pirates against the Marines.
