Speculations Akainu Level Readers Should've Been Able to Figure Out The Story Already

#4
Readers who are smart would have figured out the story like... +10 years ago already

The fact the general fandom can't figure it out means they're not top tier analysts.

Akainu fans' reader comprehension made them blind. Guys, you don't even understand Akainu as a character. What are you blabbing about? He is not the material of someone who can desire power for himself. He believes in justice dictated by WG, and will listen to any order, including mass genocide, because this is justice that he chose to listen.

Bro, don't do it... The Admiral agenda will crush you and of all the people don't test the Akainu agenda.

I'm Akainu fan and I was saying this:
1. Marine Hero, Ohara Demon Slayer, Fleet Admiral Red Dog Akainu, or just Sakazuki;
2. Imu
3. Roger/Xebec;
4. Prime Whitebeard;
6. Gorosei 1;
7. Gorosei 2;
8. Gorosei 3;
9. Gorosei 4;
10. Prime Big Mom;
11. Aokiji
12. Kizaru;
13. Gorosei 5;
14. Ryuma;
15. Prime Garp
16. Kaido
17. Teach
18. Shanks;
19. Dragon;
20. World Strongest Swordman Mihawk
But again, jokes aside, he is not the final villain material. he is Dog, no a master.
And now let's compare Sakazuki Akainu and how Oda portraited him:

Akainu from his first intro was shown as ruthless machine that can kill anyone to do what he was ordered. He was even called as Dog. Akainu killed Ace and he basically killed WB. And he was the one who made Teach run away. For a long time, I personally believed that Akainu could be the final villain in the series, due the fact that he is standing at WG side, and for a long time, was shown as strongest WG force. Plus to this, even in Fishman island Luffy recognise him as real threat,unlike BB.

But why Sakazuki don't feet for the role of final villain? Because he was shown as incompetent Marrine commander. Marrines spilt in half after Akainy became fleet admiral, and even more some new Admirals didn't listen Akainu's orders. Ofcourse Gorosei was always above him in authority, but when someone from em called Akainu as dog, who should know his place, that already was a too much to have respect for Sakazuki.

More to that Akainu didn't accomplish a thing after time skip. He even failed to defeat or capture all Shichibukai after Warlods system turns off. This is not build up for final villain in this story, and even more due of all his failures, I doubt that any Marrine look on Akainu like on their idol. SO to dethrone Imu and his Elders Akainu needs different portration, and he should be feared and loved by Marrines, which is not the case.

Fuck sake Mr. Nami is a Celestial Dragon, can you not?

Main character syndrome is real
It's the same syndrome as believing that Luffy will defeat Kaido in Wano, or Sanji will defeat Queen, or Zoro will defeat King. Even in Hunter x Hunter, Gon defeated Pitou. This is just a plot and MC is not Akainu, but Luffy, denying this is just idiotism.

I think if you watch Battles Without Honor & Humanity you'd get a better grasp on Akainu's character
The character you're describing is Sengoku

I'm definitely not saying Sengoku is morally worse than Sakazuki, Sakazuki is just a more goal driven individual, he chases after his targets relentlessly like a mad dog. What I'm saying is, whatever atrocities or "sacrifices" as he terms them he commits, he does it out of his own ideal of justice, he had already determined that Ohara was a sacrifice for the greater good, and finished it off with taking down the civilian ship, an act so extreme that not even the Government committed to doing, in this case Sakazuki was being even more thorough than the government. When the whole Doflamingo situation happened, Akainu couldn't contain himself and lashed out at the Gorosei, he only cares about his own vision of justice and wants to run things his way.

Sengoku is textbook pencil pusher, he's always nervous about the job, making him more inclined to please his bosses
His thoughts about Ohara were loud and clear, shut your trap and don't question the WG

If this was Sakazuki instead of Sengoku, he's either going to say how this is done for the greater good as he believes, or if in a foul mood there's a chance Saul gets executed on the spot because this mindset does not suit the navy in his books, a solider should be firm and just

Technically Sengoku's era had more top tiers
This is not a matter of powerscaling characters within the navy, it's simply that Akainu stern leadership and determination gave the navy a new spirit, this was bolstered by moving HQ to the New World
Jinbe did not sit down there powerscaling for sure

Aggression means more ambition, more spirit, something Akainu shares the most with Fujitora, which is why they lashed out at each other in that manner. Sengoku is faint hearted in comparison.

It is impossible to watch Battles Without Honor and Humanity without realizing that Akainu will defect from the WG and become a true hero in the end.

I would wager 90% of Japanese readers already understand Akainu will betray the WG since they know the movie that Akainu’s whole character is based on, lol.

No. Akainu will form the Neo-Neo Marines and end Ainu’s reign and become Lord Inu-Sama
