It's one thing to share your passion, it's another to try to share what you like in a sea of negativity. It's mentally draining on every level. Maybe you don't experience that, but others do and they have the right to be included in the fanbase as well.
The flow of hatred is not normal. It's the result of people refusing to quit and bringing negativity to the rest as a result. It's not ok in this current state. Yes, it's just a manga, and maybe for you it means nothing, but for others, a passion is the only light in their lives. It deserves to be cherished, not to be trashed 24/7
Questionning is fine. Like I said, I do that myself. But when people tells you that it is too much. Perhaps the best thing to do is reflect and tone down the hate.
Critics for critic is not wise. It's only a destructive process. Critics must bring discussion, create new passions and spark new ways of seeing the story
