One Piece sells regardless of whether the next nakama threads on worstgen and arlong park are active. Ya'll live in this little bubble as if forum goers are a majority of One piece fans. 99% of sales don't come from us. It's sheer delusion to think Oda gives a damn about whether or not people are arguing about shit like Carrot vs Yamato.
Even if nakama stuff affected sales, there's plenty of stuff he could tease that will actually happen. Most people are more interested in void century stuff, laugh tale teases, or joy boy lore. What's the point of teasing stuff just to say "nevermind" and not do anything with it?
