Why does it have to “fit“. There is no difference what his legs are clashing with. Be it swords, fists, legs, trident or whatever. Sanji fought a Dinosaur Cyborg shooting laser, lightning, Rockets, bullets, throwing hands, using swords etc.

I am personally fine with whoever he fights.
Sanji styled on a horse with a weapon in egghead, its not that difficult to make it work for oda

Just for choreography and track record (all his main fights, except Queen who tecnically had a sword but used just to spam lasers, were against people who fought without a bladed weapon).
It's just a bit unusual, I'm not saying he can't fight Killingham or that Oda can't make this a good show.

Yeah feat wise he’s looking great but idk why Oda would have Sanji fight Kill instead of Super Super Sommers

At least people can’t say he’s predictable lol
At this point maybe it’s just that oda likes Sanji fighting characters with weird tricky abilities.
Queen, Absalom, Mr. 2, and now Killingham. Even Jabra did his whole lying for an advantage schtick.

Still not convinced that these wings vs holy bum matchups aren't going to be light work for the wings.
Don't care what nobody says Bummmers and Bellingham are not up to scratch with regards to the calibre of opponents that the wings usually face. Typically Zoro and Sanji fights usually have an element of sink or swim type tension that has them surpass their limits and achieve some sort of milestone (e.g. Wings vs Calamities, Zoro v Daz Bones, Zoro v Kaku, Sanji v Jyabura and so on). However this current fight against the Holy Bums lacks any of that. If anything rather than a Zoro v King type matchup it feels more like a Zoro v Lucci where the is no real pay off narratively other than just getting rid of an annoying obstacle.

I mean for zoro i agree
Sanji is litterarly coming back from the dead to fight tho
He looks worse starting the fight than against Queen towards the End

Zoro vs King had no real payoff narratively until the final 2 chapters of the fight

Like every metric people use to determine whether a fight is good or not also applied to the Calamities that people ended up liking (when Oda locked in on them)

“Sink or swim type tension” Right, the same tension that had Zoro fans saying King would be a mere stepping stone on his path back to Kaido

“Oneshot material” was probably the most popular phrase in the temple until King showed that he was a competent opponent

This is why I think the fights aren’t for Zoro or Sanji, it’s for Oda to define the boost given by omen so that when he gives it to strong characters in the future we understand how much stronger they became.

Don't really care about what some Zoro fans thought or rather hoped for.
From the onset narrative pay off of Zoro v King was Zoro defeating a Yonko Commander and not just any Yonko Commnander but Kaido's (the so called "world strongest creature") strongest exectutive who also so happened to be bloody lunarian that are said to be unkillable beings. Needless to say King's potrayal prior to fighting Zoro wasn't dogshit.

Compare that to Zoro vs bloody Bummmers. Does anybody that don't got a screw loose actually think there is even 1/100 chance of Zoro losing to this bum? We all know Bummmers is going to get washed from the onset lol only question is how Zoro is going to end up steam rolling his ass.

I think it is a fight between a power from corruption vs a power from dedication. and dedication will win this cause haki surpasses all.
