Why does it have to be their job? All of them can fight and try to get stronger. Everyone in a pirate crew can fight and will fight when there is a confrontation. The “job“ never excluded anybody from throwing hands…

What do you mean? Alot of no name fodder have haki, while our main characters don’t. Especially since the SHC is so small, the standard has to be much higher than the normal crew. Take away Luffy, Zoro, Sanji and Jimbe, and the crew gets soloed by fucking Smoker - Yonkou crew btw…

Many arcs Usopp and Nami don't fight. Specially Nami that didn't fought in her own arc. They don't all need haki, haki is not a requirement for everyone in new world. Pre-timeskip Luffy already proved you can be stronger without having haki.
