Imu is the one who ruled this world for 800 years. He is the Main Evil in this story, whatever you would say. Teach can be the final villain, but he will never would be able to surpass Imu in evil.

The story hasn't been implied to be that simple. Like Robin said the history will repeat it self if people don't learn from it. Ever since the reveal of the first and second world from the harley text, her words make a lot of sense. First and second world have the bad ending, so the solution is the break the cycle. The ultimate evil will fall, but there will always be another evil waiting to takeover. If people want to believe defeating current King of the World is the better end of the story, then go ahead and believe it.

No, it's ruins the story. If BB kills Imu because he, for example, used attack like Pain, than and only than it wouldn't feel bad for story. But if you make someone like Madara beign defeated by Naruto not even at full power. Than this story tense will always be false tension. You should end this story immidiately,

Who said he would lose to Luffy, Loki is still there and hasn’t even gone hybrid yet. The situation in Mariejoie seems to be hazardous. Being defeated in Elbaph doesn’t mean Luffy doez it, it could be third party intervention.

Imu didn't rule the New World territories and other territories who are not part of World Government.

Even Spandam knows they don't have control without controlling the ancient weapons, and that's why Imu asked Vegapunk to create fuel for the ancient weapon.

Oda doesn't write his villains to be infallible like Kubo does or even kishimoto does. Oda likes to clown his villains a lot. Scabbards, Luffy with red rock , Zoro , Yamato , base Luffy with crude ACOC etc all looked against supposedly WSC Kaido.
