A lot of people don't understand Usopp.

Usopp is a very simple character on some levels.

He hates himself and loves others. This is his entire character in a nutshell.

He hates his cowardice and weakness. His lies stem from this. He lies to avoid confronting truths and questions that hurt him.

Usopp's fear stem from being unable to match his father. He fears that his father left because of him. That he wasn't good enough. This is why he leaves the crew. Because he doesn't believe in himself.

Kaya is is the one soul who truly understood him, because his lies brought her joy and peace.

Usopp's lies are not just a silly gag. His lies are prophecies. He is seeing the future. It's ridiculous to act like in a series with future sight that a character who's known for his powerful observation haki is just happening to predict all this stuff.

He can see the future, and he doesn't realize it.

Because he can't see through his own lies. However, his lies have become a successful defense mechanism.

But only for serving others. When Usopp lies about himself, it almost always blows up in his face. When he lies for the sake of others, he is often a hero.

When Robin was kidnapped and he had left the crew, Usopp new he couldn't face the crew himself because his self hatred had reached its absolute peak.

He was forced to lie to an extent he never had before and create a literal alternate persona in order to handle his own weakness.

Sogeking is a legitimate monster. Usopp in water seven push luffy harder than bellamy did.

Usopp is not weak. He's a coward.

When he's fighting for his friends, Usopp becomes a monster.

Sanji tells him that he has to do what only he can do, so, Usopp then, performs what is one of the most impressive martmanship feats in the entire series, sniping the shit out of marines from the tower of justice.

Kumacy is beating the shit out of him, but, Usopp knows ONLY HE CAN DEFEAT PERONA, because the rest of the crew is weak to her ghosts.

So, the man steps up and puts in work.

If it's for his friends, Usopp will become a monster just like Robin.

Once Brook finishes his story, and Usopp realizes what Imu did to his friend... the gloves are off.

Usopp will ask Bonney to Distort his Future, into Usopp becoming a brave warrior of the sea... Sogeking.

And then, the Sniper God will rain judgment down on Nerona Imu.

Sogeking will be evasion and Future Sight based, with powerful and versatile ranged attacks, as well as sneaky use of traps and technology. He will have all three forms of Haki, IMO.

Usopp loves the crew as family. They have given him everything he has ever dreamed of in his life.

When Usopp fights for himself, he's a weak coward.

When Usopp fights for his Nakama, the Straw Hat Pirates, he is Sogeking, God Usopp.

Sniper Island is in your heart.

Elbaph is Usopp's Arc.

The real purpose of this flashback narrative wise is threefold:

1. Give Brook's backstory. This is a time period Oda hasn't explored much, and Brook is a beloved character. A few chapters of backstory for him is fine, and I predict it would happen in this arc, because Elbaph is about honor and death and war, and Brook's life has all three.

2. Explore the Celestial Dragons, especially Imu, through Shuri/Gunko. This is a faction that we've seen very little of in terms of their day to day lives. Pretty much, every time we've seen them, they're doing some crazy ass shit. It'd be interesting to know what they actually just like do when they're not being assholes.

3. Inspire Usopp to go God Mode. Like i've said, one of the most consistent things with this character is that Usopp fights hardest for his friends. If Candel, Shuri, and Leuven had their lives, and maybe even the lives of the entire kingdom, ruined by Imu, Usopp will snap in a way like we've never seen before.

Once Usopp realizes Shuri/Gunko is an innocent victim, and Brook's friend, he'll think back to this.

Usopp will rise.

I believe in Usopp.

I think we'll see Law and Kidd during this time, and they'll also get offered Adam Wood.

A big Chekov's Gun Oda hasn't fired is that Kidd and Law beat Big Mom. The Giants should literally worship them over this.

Once those two get their flowers from the Giants of Elbaph, Franky and maybe even the Galleila Shipwrights will help Kidd and Law get new ships.

My hope is that, since Kidd and Law's ships are heavily metal based, Kidd can help scrap and refuse the metal.

I think Teach is interested in Submarines, and has the wreckage of the Polar Tang being studied.

At first, I didn't really think that he would ever return, but then I remembered who Heracles is based on and that they have ties to the Cerberus from the Greek Myth as well as Aesop, the legendary Storyteller who has written many famous Stories about heracles / hercules.

I know that we kinda met a Cerberus during the thriller Barc Arc, thus fulfilling another one of Usopps' lies, but what if Shamrock / his devil fruit was meant by this and Oda purposely sent him Away from Elbaf for something bigger later on. Speaking of the Underworld, because of Brooks devil fruit, I always wondered if a person could physically enter where he summons his Ice from. Since we have so many devil fruits right now who can create alternate dimensions, like Brulees Mirror World, Bluenos Door Dimension, Blackbeards Black Hole, Caribous Eternal Swamp and probably even the Abyss.

I am always thinking back to Film Red with his unique Haki, being able to connect with his father in 2 different realms to coordinate attacks and defeat Tot Musica. Maybe we could see this type of haki also in the Canon story. I know Usopp already has his special type of haki, which is already amazing on its own. Maybe he will be able to do similar things with it when we need it.

Heracles is at the age of 51 currently, so he might have history with some important characters belonging to the middle generation of characters like Urogue etc. and not that far apart from the likes of Shanks/ Shamrock / Blackbeard etc. All the important ones. Funnily enough, the only other character that is 51 years old is Mrs Merry Christmas, who was one of Usopp’s main enemies in the series.

The Cerberus connection is cool because, in mythology, I believe Hercules/Heracles descended to the Underworld to capture the 3-headed dog as one of his 12 tasks given to him and to free someone. So maybe there will be something there.

I know we are on Elbaf right now and Norse mythology is currently the theme, but people noticed that even Imu jumped back and forth using attacks named after Greek & Aztec deities.

Nemesis and Tzitzimitl, so who knows what else he might surprise us with.

Kidd and Law are going to be strong as fuck when they get their Haki sorted. I think Haki is what fuels Devil Fruit powers, and so Law/Kidd don't have strong Haki because their stamina is constantly being pushed into their Fruitl.

I think we'll get Zunesha's flashback in Act 4. Makes the most sense.

It's going to be hilarious when we cut to some Ryuma flashback in Wano Act 4 and I'll be swearing like "GO BACK TO FUCKING PLUTON"

Hmmm, Brook makes a door of ice to hell, like the Nether or whatever the hell it is in Minecraft?

I think Blackbeard will use the Abyss to travel, and I could see Shuri teaching Brook or others how to use it. I think there's a chance Robin dies and gets summoned back as Nami's Demon.

Usopp gaining legit telepathy and using it to manage the crew as sniper would be amazing. Usopp giving directions to Zoro, lol.

The reason I bring this up is Harald. Harald is one of the best people in the series morally, and he had two wives, and possibly a third if he is Kaido's dad.

Yasopp falling in love with another woman wouldn't surprise me. Starting to seriously wonder if Kidd is Scien's kid, too. Always though Franky and Kidd might be related.

Yeah, the outcome in Wano still finds no common ground in the community. There still seem to be different camps when it comes to big mom & Kaidos defeats.

Part of me still doesn't believe that Big Mom and Kaido are actually dead. When the hunt for Pluton begins with the Blackbeard Pirates and maybe even the Cross Guild involved, it would be fun to see them getting in their way somehow and make for a surprise moment.

Because as much as I like Momo / Yamato, I highly doubt they alone could stop strong intruders like that from getting their hands on the Weapon.

Kidd and Law are definitely not weak. I agree with that. We still have that eternal youth operation secret in play here + yeah, as you said, the potential for advanced conquerors haki. And perhaps some hidden devil fruit ability for kidd as well.

I wonder in general if all devil fruits out there have a special ability that comes with a drawback. For example, Princess Mansherry, who was said to have a strong, hidden ability that allows her to reinstate inanimate objects to their original form at the cost of her own lifespan. Doflamingo wanted her to rebuild the Smile Factory, which left me wondering how far her powers could go. Could she "theoretically" bring back the entire Ancient Kingdom by just getting her hands on one tiny piece of bedrock or walking around some leftover ruins ? That would be wild. (Big mom would have made a crazy combo with her, Lol.)

Or even repair that 3000+ year old robot we saw on Elbaf ? All types of weapons, etc. Where would her limits be, if she had an infinite lifetime to spare ?




But anyway, the same goes for Kidd that he could still have something we haven't seen yet or that he himself hasn't even discovered yet, maybe.

I think even Wapol had some "secret technique" which he teased us during Drum Kingdom. He wanted to fuse with the entire weapon arsenal to defeat Luffy, which we never got to see.

Lol ! Ever since we got the reveal that Queen is Franky's father, I have been prepared for any other secret relationship. We still have the famous Davy Clan, which many people believe some characters could belong to. From Brook and Usopp to Kidd, Buggy and Foxy, it seems like anything is possible. Franky and Kidd related would be wild.

Harald was indeed great. Who knows what Yasopp has done all these years? While I can still see him being loyal to his late wife, this is a pirate story. Wouldn't be out of the blue if he really met another woman (even if they didn't marry). But wait ! Wasn't there a cover story about Shanks and his crew attending a still unknown wedding ? (Nah it certainly wasn't Yasopps.)



I think Lucky Roux was speculated back then because he was the only main guy not being shown alongside the groom & bride left completely offscreen. (Have to recheck).

I'm torn on if Cross Guild and Blackbeard will ally. Blackbeard will definitely give Garp to Cross Guild for the 3 Billion Berry... but, will that lead to an alliance?

Either way, Cross Guild and Blackbeard will clash in Wano over Pluton eventually. Even if Cross Guild doesn't know about Pluton, they'll want to invade the country just to take it over now that Kaido is gone. It's one of the only fortresses that can actually stand against the WG.

As for Wapol, I only remembered him, because I like to watch some reaction channels on YouTube from time to time and see people's excitement for the first time. And almost all of them are always either around Arlong Park, Drum Kingdom or Alabasta Lol. There was a scene where we see Wapol defeat Dalton "offscreen" using his ultimate technique. And apparently he wanted to use a variation of that which we never got to see on screen, because Nami stole the key to the weapon arsenal, so he couldn't eat them all to show it to us against Luffy, before his defeat. That's why I believe Oda is holding off for something later on.

The irony would be if Cross Guild would free Doflamingo from prison, and he would end up serving under crocodile instead, especially after Doflamingos remark trying to win Crocodile over "he hoped his prison time made him more reasonable."

I wonder how many he would send for something as important as the ancient weapons or if he would go in full force. And for Lafitte still not having his devil fruit revealed, is crazy to me.

The hunt for Shirahoshi will be most interesting. Since Blackbeard is a calculating character, would he risk diving 10000 meters deep into the Ocean with a crew full of devil fruit users? They would also have to coat their ships. Maybe auger could just warp them forward in coated ships that would definitely spare them some time. Or shirahoshi comes to the surface again for whatever reason.

Now that would be an awesome entrance Lol ! Seeing big mom and Kaido getting launched back out of a volcano. And then acting like nothing happened.

I am definitely not underestimating Momo and Yamato or the scabbards. They will all get stronger for sure.

Funny that you mentioned Garp together with Usopp in a sentence. It reminded me of a panel that was never published in the Manga. In Yasopps Vivre Card, we learned that Oda wanted to include this panel post-enies lobby but scrapped it because of the page limit, which I still believe was on purpose to not give away too much. Very wholesome words by Garp to Usopp btw.

Cross Guild is a business, not really a crew. Crocodile WON'T serve under anyone, and that's why Cross Guild is so interesting: it's a business alliance, not a pirate alliance. Crocodile and Mihawk are partners, not Nakama. Much like Baroque Works were operatives, not allies.

This is why I also think Loki joining a Cross Guild and Blackbeard alliance is possible: he won't be serving under them, he'll be killing Celestial Dragons for them. That's Cross Guild's next step: put bounties on Celestial Dragons. That will interest Loki heavily.

This is why Mihawk and Croc were so phenomenally pissed at Buggy becoming the figurehead of Cross Guild. It was supposed to be a business alliance run by Mihawk and Crocodile with Buggy and his people doing behind the scenes work, and Buggy somehow became a Yonkou with the world viewing Mihawk and Crocodile as under him.

If Doflamingo joins, it will be as a partner, IMO, but, I think Doffy and the Doflamingo Family will become a God's Knight and God's Steels to invade Wano in Act 4.

Oda didn't write Doflamingo out of Wano, he pushed him back.

Yeah, took me multiple rereads of the end of Wano to realize "Oh shit, Caribou doesn't know about the Borders..."

I think Blackbeard has a 3-way split going right now, and that the Cross Guild Alliance will be based around splitting the world up: Cross Guild gets Paradise, Teach gets the New World.

Teach is sending out three groups now:

1. Marijoa Squad: Blackbeard, Shiryu, Laffitte.

Blackbeard wants York, the Saber of Xebec in the Flower Room, and the Giant Straw Hat. Laffitte was last seen outside the Red Line making preparations.

Laffitte draws the Magic Circle, Blackbeard uses his Yami Awakening to take the Abyss to Marijoa.

Blackbeard fights, Laffitte hypnotizes guards to find out where to go, and Shiryu steals shit. Augur provides covering fire, scouts the area, and teleports people as necessary.


2. Fish-Man Island: Burgess, Devon, Crocodile. Burgess can handle Fish-Men easily, and Devon turns into Luffy and "destroys" Fish-Man Island. Augur is the one who fed Luffy on Egghead, and Devon touched him. That was their mission: to touch Saturn, and Luffy, so they could impersonate both a Gorosei and Yonko. Devon infiltrates and gets to Shirahoshi. Crocodile is a natural counter to Fish-Men, and destroys their Fish-Man Karate with sand. Crocodile learned his weakness in Alabasta, and has accounted for it, we'll see this here.


3. Elbaph: Kuzan, Mihawk, Buggy, Sanjuan Wolf.

Sanjuan Wolf lets them get into the country easily. Buggy knows about Elbaph due to Roger (still need to see Roger Pirates in Elbaph flashback), so he's brought for this reason. Kuzan kidnaps Robin and recruits Loki using the frozen Galleila Giants in Punk Hazard and by telling Loki Teach is Rocks' Kid trying to do what Rocks wanted. Mihawk and Imu lore.


Blackbeard can use the Abyss to travel to Fish-Man Island, IMO. It's very possible he attacks Fish-Man Island before Marijoa, and recruits Hodie's Fish-Man Army to invade Marijoa. Would make a lot of sense. So, it could just be two parties.

Garp and Usopp page is awesome, wish Oda could have fit it in.

Garp knows a real one, look at the Koby and Helmeppo investment.

Once Teach is done with Fish-Man Island, Marijoa, and Elbaph...

The Blackbeard Pirates will go to Wano for Pluton.
