No ichigo was trying to conserve his powers. Hence he wanted to finish dordoni with minimum power possible initially. An all out bankai ichigo will make short work of dordoni.

Byakuya got defeated by ichigo is SS arc and doesn't have ichigo's growth rate. Max he is bankai ichigo level in HM.
