1. Garp: ruined in Marineford, he watxhed Ace die because he's a cuck for the world goverment, Ace wasn't even evil, worst thing he did was call himself a pirate, Garp treated him like he was a rapist and then he had the audacity to get mad at Akainu when the other alternative, he was perfectly fine with btw, was Ace being impaled through the chest

2. Robin: ruined in FMI, she was too white looked like Nami, her unique look was ruined and she was reduced to Poneglyph reader until Wano then she reverted after and slept through Vegapunks speech, she's not much of a character anymore

3. Smoker & Tashigi: they've always been great but they were ruined when Oda wrote them out of the story for Kobys sake

4. Usopp: Wano, the character assassination reached new unforseen levels and it only got worse, every arc,even Elbaf, Usopp's stock kept descending to the pitts of hell

5. Jimbe: people used to glaze him but hes no longer a warlord, he's now a straw hat so Oda gives him the shitty "main character" treatment

6. WB: Elbaf, you could say Wano but it wasn't enough to sink his character, him abandoning xebec over a slight misunderstanding destroys the trait of loyalty WB established in Marineford

Garp let luffy get passed him and stopped fighting after Ace was freed Ace died do to his own pride, stubbornness and hubris

Robin: ruined in FMI, she was too white looked like Nami, her unique look was ruined and she was reduced to Poneglyph reader until Wano then she reverted after and slept through Vegapunks speech, she's not much of a character anymore

She's never been anything but a Poneglyph reader her purpose in the story and crew will always revolve around that fact

Smoker & Tashigi: they've always been great but they were ruined when Oda wrote them out of the story for Kobys sake

Tashigi and Smoker show up in the story more than Koby and they still have a role to play even if Koby is gonna have more focus from now on

Usopp: Wano, the character assassination reached new unforseen levels and it only got worse, every arc,even Elbaf, Usopp's stock kept descending to the pitts of hell

Unfortunately Oda never uses Usopp to the best of his abilities which is sniping and this isn't a recent thing Oda has only given Usopp two sniping feats in almost 1200 chapters once at enies lobby when he sniped spandam right beflre he could bring Robin through gates and again in dressrosa when he sniped sugar dressrosa was over 10 years ago now

I've said it once i'll say it twice i'll say it 1000 times jimbe is the biggest fraud in the story and he's always been a boring character he's just mainstream now so we see it more often

Marineford was 36 years after God Valley it showed us that he progressed as a captain and a man he didn't regress backwards Oda showed us a glimpse of who wb once was and how he became who he is today

To be fair, there was a scene where Bege highlighted her as a heavy hitter amongst the BM pirates. If not for that scene, there'd be zero expectations.

I guess since she's the eldest daughter iirc, she was also seen as the female equivalent of Perospero, who gets to do noteworthy stuff despite not being a Sweet Commander.

Yes. It was naïve from me, but I had so much hope and strong expectations at the time, and with her being described as one of the monsters of the BMP I was hoping that Oda would do something with her and Smoothie. I couldn't have imagined just how wrong I was and how badly Oda would screw up with her and Smoothie and their mother.
