I love nepotism. Just like I love capitalism and darwinism. If you're shit and your bloodline is shit, you won't come far. I think Oda balanced it quite well. With thousands of CDs who are literal fodder while there's other with exceptional traits and conqueror haki. Same with humans where you have freaks like Meme or WB but most being fodder.

It has to come from somewhere. There's very few Rockefellers in one piece and those who exist are exceptions that prove the rule.

All cool and valid except for goofy. Who gets literally everything for free for MC sake

Tbf he was in a lot of dangerous Situations and „gears“ are his own creation

That's not nepotism.

It simply means when one gives unfair preferential treatment or favouritism towards relatives because they are family rather than on the basis of merit.

It has to be unfair.

Someone helping a family member to get advantages to access to opportunities then it doesn't automatically makes it nepotism.

But if someone is helping a family member to get advantages which isn't fair or it is not on the basis of merit then it's nepotism.

Even Shamrock as nepo baby would be debatable if he's qualified to join the ranks.
I guess due to his background shamrock had Access to Training, weapon etc from his youth on

CoC is all about Haki will passed on/Nepotism.
That would make sense if Haki wasn't based on karmic energy and the fact when someone is reincarnated they take on an entirely new attitude.

Actually, it still doesn't make sense even if you view it that way. It's just culturally ignorant.

Wills/Souls and Devil Fruits in a rebirth cycle are all indicative of karmic energy.

A "Will" is the same thing as a soul. It gets passed on because the soul actually reincarnates and someone gets born with it, but it's confused with inspiring people.

Reminder that this dude despite disturbing Childhood and strong will to survive and reach his goals Doesnt have coc
Are you sure about that, though? I'm pretty sure you need Conqueror's Haki to hurt Big Mom

It was established she had a weird defense that stopped her from being hurt unless her spirit was overwhelmed. The Mother Caramel thing was just 1 way to bypass that and cause her spirit to fluctuate, but to actually attack her in a battle where she's in full power and hurt her is different.

Unlike with Kidd There was no emphasis or mention for him

Well, the burden of proof is on me to say otherwise.

I argue that it's the same thing with Xebec. Law and Kid mirror Roger and Garp in the way they had to use most of their spiritual energy to achieve a win.

That's debatable, and I understand that.
Yeah Its Funny and interedting That Oda didnt give this to one of the Most important and popular Side characters
