Very suspicious for Zoro to get hypetooled post ts. How likely is the popularity poll behind the hype tool?

I am not saying that zoro should never get hypetooled since pre timeskip he got hypetooled too against Enel or Lucci alongside with luffy.

But the hypetool happened after the results from japans popularity score in which zoro was winning even against luffy.

Is it possible that oda made this choice because zoro won in the popularity poll in Japan?

The encounter with Imu didnt bother Zoro whatsoever so he thinks nothing of it.
Imu was in his strongest form during the clash while Zoro wasnt, only natural for Zoro to be pushed back.
Now, regarding the poll... Have you noticed that they have turned off Hot Characters ranking in the last phase where Zoro was dominating?
The effect of this on Zoro in manga is yet to be seen.

Before Zoro was even YC1 level he had Fuji retreat after overpowering his attack

With 30 Broken bones he had scarred Kaido

So fresh version of Zoro being treated like this is absolutely an anomaly
