So if we went with B, wouldn't that just make regen Logias 2.0?

How would that work? Wouldn't it just be possible for characters to harm regen merchants with their usual armament attacks?

Or would you say rewrite the story a bit and have HKs introduced at the same time as logias in pre-TS so haki when it gets introduced post-TS can be introduced as the secret to countering both?

With Option B, no Holy Knight has been shown with a Logia, just Paramecias and Zoans. So, having their own power plus being invincible to anything but Haki, like not even seastone working, is a useful boost...but not a series breaking one. Because if you don't have Conqueror's Haki, you can't truly defeat them.

So, for example, if Sakazuki doesn't have it, he couldn't beat Sommers, which is absurd.

The assumption is that he's good enough to function for a short amount of time, but not necessarily long term. He isn't entirely "recovered".

My sources tell me Sanji uses Maki in this chapter- conjuring dark flames which destroy Killingham. We get a flashback from Gaban and Sanji's interaction with Gaban sensing the same "haki" which he sensed at the Aurust Castle radiating from Sanji.

@Zoinks52 The other idea was the Holy Knights are totally immune to almost anything, including Seastone, but their regeneration takes a toll on their stamina, so Conqueror's Haki takes more of their stamina away, but with enough time, even someone without Haki can eventually tire them out if they fight smart.

I could see it being used against them by aging them super fast the more their stamina runs out from regening beyond limits.

So the more they regen, the less their bodies maintain immortality. And eventually once their bodies run out of stamina from regening too much in a short time, they end up like Saturn when Imu ended him and just die.

Well, sorta. Sommers, for example, isn't immortal, so he couldn't really age like that. But he'd definitely be gassed. Which also works, since they are arrogant dickbags.
