To give Zoro fans some credit some of them came to terms with Sanji unlocking it after Gaban was confirmed to possess it
Prior to that there was just enough room for them to say there's no setup (was never true but it wasn't as obvious before)
Gaban's introduction, Oda forcing the parallel down our throats, and then that conversation in 1152 all but confirmed that he had it/was going to get it at some point this arc
They definitely weren't happy about it and a chunk of them still claim it's some contrived plot bs but they did end up admitting to it
