On the cover page, Reiju is protecting ugly-duckling-Sanji from the Cygnus 66! Did Oda just call Sanji ugly?! Whatever. Farm Girl Reiju is pretty cute! It does remind me that we don't know where the Germa 66 are right now in the story, though. Maybe we'll see them pretty soon?
Imu got socked pretty good! But, not good enough not to have more plots up his sleeves, releasing little fire creatures to attack Luffy and Loki. The little flame guys even seem to have minds of their own, and take Imu's orders! Weird! I guess Imu has his own version of Homies like Big Mom. Also, a flaming bell? Interesting, that's probably going to be relevant later. I do wonder if "Stigma" will end up getting translated officially as "Stigmata", since that might be what Oda's going for. Though, that also tracks with the abstract concepts that Imu's been using like with "Omen".
Meanwhile, the Strawhat's can't seem to break through the ice that Gunko's trapped in. And Nami gets a little excited when Franky mentions that it's almost like it's made of diamonds. Keep your head in the game, Nami! But, Loki and Ragnir land right on top of them, and just a bonk by Ragnir is able to start the ice melting.
They mention that the ice isn't really cold. Just like how Imu's flames aren't really hot. I'm not sure if this is just a gag, or if there's something going on with "illusionary elements" or something, here. Are Devil Fruit created elements not the same as the real thing? Is it...all just in their head or something? This could be a minor plot point or not, I'm really not sure. Maybe this is why you shouldn’t linger on Elbaph? You lose your ability to feel things? It really could just be as straightforward as Oda making fun of Brook and Franky not really being human anymore, but who knows? Something to keep in mind.
Luffy's able to figure out that Imu's using the flames as targets for his attacks, so he just removes his cloak. Pretty quick thinking on Luffy's part, really. He picked up on that pretty quick.
"We're just here to pick up ten or twenty kids at most" Hmmm...Sommers acting like he's going through the drive-thru here. It's Zoro vs Sommers time! Eventually, anyway!
And yeah....Sanji can't kick a giant woman. Even a dream-woman made of water. Good thing he doesn't have a rule against kicking a dragon-horse! It's Sanji vs Killingham! And Killingham reveals that the God's Knight's weakness is indeed Conqueror's Haki, since it sounds like that can kill them. We even find out what Scopper told Sanji, so that's one more mystery down! Sanji just needs to feel a bit more kingly! Which might be hard, given his history with his father. But, he'll probably pull it off.
Imu calls Luffy "Joyboy" again, but Luffy's not having it. The fight's just getting started! We get a custom VS announcement and everything! So, I guess the next couple of chapters are going to be mostly fights! As long as Gunko doesn't go into her whole backstory first! We'll see next time!
