First, again i was right, cleary confirmed to not be ACOC given sanji was hold back the whole time in this chapter, so first a pat on the back for me:

The exchange directy after the scene talk about it itself being not possible, as in the interaction of light getting dispersed
It make 0 sense with what you saying if it was about who. Kizaru talks like he never seen that

A man's copium never ends. Sanji is going down the Science and POL path

Gabum and Sanji share like 2 parallels in the whole fucking story. So using Gaban to upscale Sanji doesn't have any sense because bar two things they don't share any similarities. Plus Gaban doesn't have science powers like S4nji which is already a huge difference

That's a very funny way of oversimplifying things to fit your biased criteria.

Let's take Zoro for instance. Their parallels are:
1. First mate of the crew
2. second in command
3. right hand of the Captain
4. both were specifically sought out by the captain
5. scar in the eye
6. scar in the torso
7. Like drinking
8. both are swordsmen with Zoro even using 1SS every once in a while like Ray
9. their titles are extremely similar to each other in Japanese

That's 9 parallels that I found in like... 15 seconds?

Now for Sanji's with Gabum's:
1. Power of love
2. liking women ig?
3. Being the 3rd strongest (which fails if we take into consideration Oden).
There is no 3rd crewmate parallel because that's Nami, he isn't the 3rd most important person/main character from the Crew because that would be Nami again, there is no similar role because those would be Jimbei/Nami, their fighting styles are extremely different (axes vs kicking), there are no design parallels (like the scars), Sanji bases his main powers in Science which is a HUGE difference...

2, 3 perhaps 3 S4nji/Gabum parallels vs over 9 from Zoro/Ray. The difference, my friend, is night and day. You can't use the logic "Y will get something because X" has it when the characters are so fucking different from each other.

The funniest point is that the personality thing is really just a bone Oda was willing to throw, because Gaban is less "like Sanji" and more simply, just a heterosexual. He wasn't any more horny than Roger when it came to Shakky or anything like that.

There was a fighting style parallel in that Sanji would clearly be a capable fighter with two knives if he ever bothered, and could combine that with kicks to probably be stronger than he is now. Kind of a subtle thing that Oda probably won't reference again. As it stands Jinbe threatens the third strongest spot and the potential of Yamato would threaten him the way Oden threatened Gaban.

Off the top of my head? Lola and Hancock are just as big as Sanji when it comes to being a cornball.


Your proof of Gaban being like Sanji is "who else is like Sanji"? You can't use the thing to prove itself.


Gaban is a conqueror who uses CoO and CoC to high degrees. Combat wise he's clearly different from Sanji.

You must understand that it's not simply me, or this board, with this suggestion. From the start of smashing into each other when Jinbe clashed with Luffy then sharing the opponent in FI, they have always been comparable and Sanji is clearly competitive.

Also Nami. In the end, Luffy's crew isn't Roger's crew.
