The way Gaban explains this to Sanji, it makes it sound like they all could have the same potential.
They all need to be kings to make Luffy into PK...

Gaban doesnt say that Sanji has the potential for it but that he should have it. Why would Sanji be different here than any other Strawhat member?

Am I missing anything or why should he specifically have that potential while others shouldn't?

Sanji never had the traits of a Conqueror so if Oda doesnt mind adding that ability on Sanji, no reason why he cant add it on others who dont have traits of a Conqueror either, like Robin or Brook...
All others had more likelihood of being Conquerors than even Sanji had before confirmation, especially Usopp.

Do yall think Oda will sprinkle CoC on all of them in the end or it will remain just these 3 or maybe 1-2 more also?

The way Kaidou, the god of wisdom, thinks about Haki transcending everything would always lead him to beat the immortal Holy Knights and figure out the key to defeating them right away. It makes me wonder if he was saying that as both a lesson and a warning to Luffy.

Kaidou was simply on another level. It’s not enough to just think you’re a king. To reach the top of the world and become top 1 like he did, you have to build the mindset that you can overcome anything with Conqueror’s Haki.

Simply insane, because Kaidou clashed with Shanks, whose Haki is literally comparable to Joyboy’s, and even that wasn’t enough to make Kaidou think he would lose to Shanks. After fighting him, he came to the opposite conclusion: Shanks couldn’t beat him.

Honestly, I don't see any problem with Jinbe having Conqueror's Haki or even being able to use its advanced form. Out of the entire Fish-Man race, we've had basically zero Fish-Men with Conqueror's Haki. I don't think his Conqueror's Haki would be as powerful as the Emperors', the kind that can split the skies. It'd probably be more like Yamato's, which still has room to grow, although Jinbe is already a bit older.

Nah. Just the East Blue 5.

Being a Wing of the Pirate King is apparently a narrative standing where you need Conqueror's Haki to make Luffy the Pirate King (aka. the Conqueror of Conqueror's). So being the Right and Left Hand Men of the Pirate King means you must be Kings yourself. So this only applies to Zoro and Sanji.

Sanji is also Royalty. A large portion of Conqueror's also seem to hail from Royal Bloodlines- it's a head start. I'd wager the founder of Germa or the ancestor (possibly Saint-Germain?) is also a Conqueror. None of the other Straw Hat's have Royal bloodlines either, except possibly Nami (theory though).

Sanji was also stated to have the same spear of grit as Luffy in his introduction, that he is supressing, which is what Oda is emphasizing again. I don't think any other Straw Hat's had this direct of a comparison of wills upon introduction except Usopp.

Conclusion? Usopp and Nami should absolutely unlock at least the base variant of Conqueror's. This fits with Usopp lies always coming true, and Nami's Conqueror gag.

If Haki was a measure of character merit, there's no question to me that Jinbe would have it

Lmaoooooooooooooooo

The Zoro fan response to this chapter was always the most predictable part

"Might as well give it to Chopper!"

Anyway, only Usopp/Nami have a real shot of unlocking it after Sanji. They both have hints towards unlocking CoC at some point

With Usopp I'd say it's very likely he unlocks it either this arc or at some point during his fight with Van Augur/his reunion with Yasopp if that ever happens

Nami is impossible to predict

I dont think so.. Perhaps Nami and Usopp, Jinbe is too old for that regard. Given the way Usopp and Nami are handled, i doubt... Sanji will be the last one, Yamato and Loki gonna join to complete the 5 Conquerors

It all depends on how Oda handles Sanji's CoC awakening here

The editor's note said "Who really has the qualities of a king?"

Oda will basically flesh out what it means to be a Conqueror and have CoC, through Sanji himself

Gaban said that because he knows Sanji is a "wing" though, and mind you Sanji is very young, unlike most that joined in the Grand Line

If anyone else gets it, its gotta be someone of the East Blue 5, that panel of the barrel is strong, although Usopp and Nami are way too weak in the current situation

Also I think that being a conqueror is a HUMAN trait

Nah just the EB5 that decided to sail into a land called the pirates graveyard with only one ship, 5 crewmates, and a dream.

Those five have it in them

It is very possible. If you need ACoC to kill a HK, then how else will the SHs do it?

Also having ACoC doesn’t make you strong by EoS standards. Imu low diffed Zoro. DR Rocks low diffed Linlin. Harald low diffed Gaban and Shanks.

The weak trio could all have ACoC and still be fodder to the EoS M3.
