I don't remember but did riots happen in 2022 after semi finals?
Might sound a bit like a political post but it's necessary to mention these points given the levels of ignorance that rise every time with said "riots" after football matches.

I don't remember semifinal 2022 in Paris. But if you wanna talk recent events. PSG winning the champions league led to a huge festivity in Paris and some arrests sometimes for good reasons and lots of abusive arrests.

Champions League has a big popularity among the working class that is mostly racialized unlike the world cup that is watched by literally everyone on earth from every social branches of society.

That's why the celebration of the champions league is highly criticized by white and conservative voices. Their media outlets inflate a lot of the truths and make a lot of lies too.

Same for white feminists who call out the celebrations by saying "look at these men, always them" thinking they're radical feminists but most of these white women don't even realize that they repeat the catchphrase of the far-right.

You'll find quite some parisians agreeing with the take that "paris will burn" and whatnot but as always it's not because you live next to an event that you understand what happened there. You need to be informed. Not just live close-by, but see with your eyes.

I did see the celebrations of PSG with my own eyes and everyone that I know who called it "riots" weren't even there.

France - Morocco will obviously end up with some arrests too. But probably way smaller than the Champions League final with PSG.

Argentinian referees will probably give Olise a yellow card to expel him from the match with Spain which will undermine France's chances to win :hope:

England
France
Norway
Argentina
Spain
...
This is the order of the teams I will be cheering to win the WCs from now :pepecopium:
I bet I just jinxed the shit out of England and France but you can't betray your heart :PepeCock:
England looks quite dangerous honestly. I believe that they really have a good shot against Argentina.

Before this WC, if you would have asked me - I wouldn't have bet on Argentina. Not on Messi

Last time fans were crying because of Messi getting pens ignoring the fact that France made a comeback from 0-2 down to make it 3-3 with the help of 2 pens...

When it happened to them.. it's fair

When it happens to Argentina - it's rigged and cheating.

This time all Messi goals are non-pen goals. But seeing how stupid people are - with no idea about rules and how officiating can sometime be messy, how crying is coming from Ronaldo fans and a very specific geographic regions as it was Egypt who went out - then it's more agenda driven than rooted in facts.

They can cry my ass all they want. Lmao

More they will cry, more I feel they will push this Argentina team to win the WC. They are actually helping us lmao

A miracle might really happen......
I do not think Argentina will even get past Quarterfinals before WC start seeing their current form + old man Messi who's playing in mls and in a declining state.
But....

Except Argentina citizens and Messi supporter, i don't even think anybody is even supporting the team rn, hell most would sell their souls and livings just to see them lose, that's how i see the current state, it's pretty serious.

And somehow Argentina is packing through it when we thought it's over, they come back again.
Pessi slander was going strong, yet miraculously he miss all his penalty and later scores a normal goals beautifully and become top scorer without penalty, so as to make sure any pessi slander was meaningless.
Ppl post Egypt 2-0 and celebrates before match ends and then later becomes 2-3, making it impossible possible and thereby getting cooked again in the reply sections....

Idk what to say anymore it's like fate is driving their way again to reach the top just so ppl would lose their minds x100, i hope i see that day

There's a saying in my culture.

The mills of God grind slowly, but they grind exceedingly fine. And, when someone try to steal an honest man's credit, then Heaven writes the debt.

Heaven gave a reckoning in 2022.

Take Messi's journey and you will understand.

In 2026, at the age of 39 ( Ronaldo in last WC at 37 was washed, many retires) he's already leading all stats possible in the WC.
