One ting that I think Oda will tie into this Sanji CoC awakening is PoL and I think this ability is going to have a lot more narrative weight than folks give it credit for as it’s being tied to the Buccaneers. Even more so than any other race in the series the celestials seem to really hate and I dare say seem to fear the buccaneers even, so I’m thinking maybe it’s coz the buccaneers possesses something that was real pain in the ass to the Celestials in the past and I think that might be PoL.

So really looking forward to more exposition on that ability even more so now that Sanji is on the cusp of unlocking CoC

Ability might turn out to be even more broken than just undying flames 👀

People who think that Sanji has even a semblance of misogyn beacuse he doesn't treat women like men and whoop them around when he gets the chance have their screws loose

You can criticiize his code and say that it is counter producitive and in many cases put his and other's lives in danger, but to argue that it is based on some misogny is just plain stupidity.

See where you’re going with the star route but doubt Oda depicts it in the way you’re envisioning in comparison to other very strong flame users. Blue Flames are much hotter than lava for example but with the way Oda’s dumb ass writes its difficult to say which is actually hotter visually btw Sanji’s blue flames & Akainu or Kaido’s lava.

I think he showed the increase in fire power by the explosion size.

Sanjis never created an explosion.

Ifrit created an explosion with a radius the size of a small moutain range


Thats the increase in heat. Its been made pretty clear to me. Sanjis a walking moutain destroyer.

One beef burst to the base of a moutain and an explosion the size of the moutain appears.

Diable jambe never had that much volatility. No. This is unique to the explosive nature of ionized air. Its very easily disturbed.

Sure, you could argue the SH's are gonna be so strong that the HK etc. wouldn't be a threat anymore, but that is just dumb.
Considering how strong Luffy is gonna be, Kaidou and BM wouldn't be a threat either + Zoro and Sanji would be able to handle them eos aswell. Especialy because we didn't know Luffy's ceiling at that time, i mean we knew he would be PK level, but even then, you can't leave them alive they would stil be very dangerous...


Yeah that is what is so annoying about Ifrit and why it felt so underwhelming to me.
First the design change was almost non existent and then there was no visible difference in the heat nor in the AP itself (outside of Beef Burst). If you don't include Beef Burst Ifrit did nothing different than DJ, visualy nor ap-wise.

That's exactly what i said, it lacked any visible difference. The design is the same outside of lightning and the blue color which is not visible in the black and white manga. His attacks looked not any different from his DJ attacks. His finisher move is what made the difference visible, but that is a realy bad portrayal of a PU. The difference should be visible from the get go.

His speed increase was not because of Ifrit Jambe and Sanji kicked Queens arm off before Ifrit Jambe aswell, so i don't understand why you bring that even up...
