Character Discussion why did Oda let Zoro face Sommers and Sanji face Killingham while the opposite makes a lot more sense?

My take is that Sanji might get to fight Aramaki and him fighting 2 plant based dudes seems redundant?
Although, with plants being weak to fire who knows if Sanji will face the green admiral at all... Ah, I miss the OG admiral trio, and am still salty there wasn't a proper Sanji vs Kizaru aerial superspeed battle.

I've been thinking about Aramaki's counter to flames, and it's actually really interesting:
Poisonous plants. If Aramaki can become a Plant fully, he can easily handle toxins that would kill humans. Likewise, he can produce foliage that creates deadly gasses when burned. On some levels, he can produce gasses like Caesar.
I think we'll get Sanji vs Aramaki and Zoro vs Kizaru in Wano Act 4.
Maybe I'm just still hung up on Kizaru and Zoro not fighting in Egghead.
I really want to see Kizaru vs Sanji at some point, but, I'm having a hard time seeing what they would fight over. I swear, if Kizaru joins the Blackbeard Pirates.
I guess my ideal hope would be an Onigashima situation, where they trade off, and we get Sanji and Zoro fighting both of them before switching up.

We just got wait and see. I know picking zoro vs sommers when sanji vs sommers feels alot more superior is jarring but who knows. Perhaps killingham will summon an evil zoro mma that comes from sanjis fears of being in a pov where the death pack comes. And sommers is basically an evil sanji, zoro can compare him to our cook and the theme of these wing fights is if they had to fight an inverse version of each other
In terms of abilities Sanji is a very bad matchup for Sommers. We already saw how easily Sanji can burn Sommers thorns. So Oda gave Sommers to Zoro.
Plus there is the whole Kilin arrives when a new King is born type thing.
I remember when we got introduced to them, Zoro fans instantly jumped to the conclusion that Zoro is gonna fight Sommers, because he had seemingly a sword, which was just a thorn club weapon in the end and he looked more serious than KH‘s goofy Zoan Form, but looks more edgy in his real form. But since there was the whole love theme going on it was kinda obvious he was made for Sanji. So they started downplaying him especially since he was getting destroyed by everybody and in their hopes it’s Sanji’s opponent, well now they got him lmao
And now they try to hype him as much as they can.
