This is just speculaiton on my part but personally I think the Germa route was ultimately just a phase in Sanji's evolution that he ultimately outgrows at some point, potentially this arc, so I don't think he's necessarily going to building on that but rather that he gets upgrades that exceed the limitations of science.
For example blue flames are the hotest type of flames that you can conjure via science but I think Sanji will be conjuring black flames that exceed what science is capable of producing.
Also I've been a big advocate for a demonic transformation for Sanji that mirrors Luffy's Nika transformation and that his CoC will manifest itself with that transformation (i.e. 悪魔/Akuma/Devil (Diable)⇨魔神/Majin/High Ranking Demon⇨魔王/Maou/Demon King) and I think that the physcial buffs from that will ultimately exceed his Germa buffs.

I don't think COC is enough for Sanji to beat Killingham because Zoro already has COC and he is struggling against Summers, so will Sanji get another power up. What are your thoughts about this? 
If you remove CoC, Zoro objectively used a stronger move against Pica, let alone Kaido.
It would be pretty wild if the whole exo setup was for the spear specifically @PuckTheGreat
I would enjoy more endurance feats if really the spear is virtually impossible to dodge.
And you know what I would like? Sanji honing even more his armament haki (plus exo of course) to sustain damages like the ultimate tank.
Let's leave his progression with observation haki when he will fight Kizaru

Man I don't think we are readyy for CoC Sanji this arc
There's a lot of emphasis on growth for the M3 with regards to what they are going to have to accoplish going forward.
For the wings particularly they are going to have to become pillars strong enough to stand side by side with Luffy and support him come hell or high water and Gaban showed us just how strong a wing of the PK has to be in order to be able to accomplish what they need to. This man is outchea pressing Imu (Top 1), now imagine a trio of Roger, Gaban and Ray vs Imu
They might have not been able to beat him but they sure as hell would've been able to give him a hell of fight.
So I'm very much looking forward to seeing how much Sanji grows this arc, particulary how becoming a conqueror will change him going forward.
Also with this chapter we go another counter parallel btw Luffy and Sanji at least with regards to the way the plot is playing out

Bascially polar opposites on the spectrum and then you have Zoro who is somewhat akin to an "Oblivious" King.
All three are going to have to grow out of that this arc, we eating good this arc not gonna lie

Then, once Imu is weakened, it goes to some 1v1.
That's a pretty typical vs final boss structure.
