Imu was on a significantly stronger form than the one easily handling Luffy and Gaban, though.

Even if Gaban would have cut Imu’s arm off, I would have still said Loki did better. Loki yeeted Imu across Elbaph and had him coughing blood without even using his fruit. Nidhoggr Loki fought Imu equally with no advantage either way,

Gaban only wounding Imu while also losing his arm is not that impressive. More impressive than bum ass Yawnco level for sure but we’re discussing actual strong characters right now.
