I’m not being sarcastic or anything, I genuinely wanna know.

Didn’t Gaban tell Luffy to upgrade his CoC usage? Why did Luffy brush that off?

Was Gaban too vague and Luffy didn’t understand what he meant? Or is Luffy just lazy and would rather let his DF carry him despite all that happened in Wano?

Did he thought that Haki was some sort of an anti-Kaido weapon and now that he’s gone he goes back to his pre-TS moveset?

Luffy can't just decide to upgrade his Haki on the spot...

Gaban gave him that advice like an hour ago in One Piece time, and when the literal King of the World appears to take control of the island all you can do is act and give it your best shot.

If he's lucky enough he will be able to survive and upgrade a bit. That aside, his only hope is that Imu reaches his time limit and has to go back to Mary Geoise.

No the gap can’t be that big, this is just power creep.
My headcanon is that Luffy only used ACoC twice when he smogged Imu at the beginning and when he used the Genei punch

It’s just like how in Egghead I refuse to believe Luffy used ACoC against Warcury which is why his hands hurt, Warcury’s defence can’t be above Kaido’s

Yea I don't really get it aswell.

I also think the "inconsistent visuals" is a pretty lazy excuse, when he's going for it in every shot right before and inbetween every other scene during the Imu vs Luffy fight...

And "Jet" is even the prefix for non hardening G2. Infused with haki it should be hawk, right.

I'm not saying that Imu is not absolutely killing him, even if he goes all out on haki, as Luffy is clearly outmatched, I just think it's a weird approach by Oda.
I'd ride with the inconsistent visuals approach, if Oda would indeed be inconsistent and forgot it at other parts aswell, but he did not.
Even went for clear visuals when he knocked out Rodo's pet snake.

I really want to see where Oda takes it from here.

So Loki with his ancient Giants Genes strength + Nidhoggr fruit buff + Lightening + AdCoC is weaker than Gaban AP.

There is a difference between attack actually landing vs getting blocked.

Loki deals elemental and blunt damage , meanwhile both Zolo and Gaban deal cutting damage and we know how that ended.Zoro AP is trash even Sommmers overpowered his strongest attack according to vivre card info about dragon damnation. :whitepress:
