Just curious how they will handle this. All the newer movies from Strong World onwards, either had special TV anime tie-in episodes, OVA's or standalone TV specials. I wonder what they are going to show us as a prequel to God Valley.

Big issue I had with God Valley is we got very little of the Davy Clan.

I think Oda's saving the Davy Clan for Blackbeard's flashback.

Maybe we'll get it after Kuzan kidnaps Robin on Elbaph, and Teach reveals to her that she is a Davy, and his cousin. Robin rescues Pudding? I wonder what Robin knows about the Three Eye Tribe?

I still wonder if Perona and Moria actually escaped Hachinosu. I'm assuming they did.

Yeah, I was thinking of something in that regard as well. It doesn't have to be canonically in the manga first, like we had with Uta. She was added as a silhouette in the manga after Film Red was released and didn't exist beforehand. Rocks Childhood sounds awesome. Or something completely new ?

Oh, yeah. Wasn't Blackbeard supposed to be an Archeologist if he lived in the real world ? I remember just reading about that again since the theories of him being from Somalia came up again for this other movie, "BaaD". Him talking with Nico Robin would be very interesting.

I hope Moria and Perona escaped too. Imagine we get a cover story of their little side adventures. When was the last time we even had a canon cover story ?

Didn't Blackbeard say they escaped? When he was yelling ar Pizarro, post-Egghead.

Would give a lot more weight to the scene where Rocks is forced to kill his Domi Reversi family if we actually learn their names/see him grow up with them.

Yeah, Blackbeard is big into archeology/history. It's why I believed Caribou wanted to tell him about Pluton/Poseidon in the first place: I think, alongside Shiki, and obviously Kaido/Linlin, Blackbeard is one of the few pirates legitimately trying to get an Ancient Weapon.

I believe Kaido/Linlin wanted Pluton BECAUSE of Rocks, and that Pluton was the Big Score the Rocks Pirates were looking for that Sengoku mentioned. This also explains why Rocks wanted the Galleila Giants: they're most likely the creators of Pluton, or at least in charge of upkeep.

I REALLY want to see Robin interact with Teach, especially since she's pretty much a Revolutionary, now.

Yeah, apparently "Baad" can translate to "You Are" in the Somali language... not sure about this, but I heard it mentioned.

I think Moria will show up in Elbaph as a Luffy fanboy. The Straw Hats didn't kill any of Moria's crew, and Zoro and Perona are friends at this point, and Luffy saved Moria's homeland Wano from Kaido, the pirate he hates most. I also think Moria got Oars from Elbaph's Underworld to begin with. AND I think Moria was working with Shiki (that's where Moria got the Rocks' Pirate corpses from, Shiki killing his old crew to steal their shit).

So, if I'm right about Shiki being in Elbaph, and Moria working with Shiki to try to kill Kaido, it makes sense for Moria to come to Elbaph. There's a chance he just goes to Wano, but, Moria seems to actually be fairly honorable as a pirate, I think he'll want to repay the Straw Hats as soon as possible for avenging Oden and saving Wano.

The last canon cover story was Yamato's Cover Series...
