I believe this is good for Xebec as a character.
He would be somewhat very unique.
The OP fans will *probably* like it, but non OP fans or even really casuals don't have a reason to watch it or even enjoy it, and let's not pretend that God Valley was even really well written or something

It can't break any records, the only reason to believe that is straight up fanboyism

Non Op fans have no reason to watch any OP movies even if these movies have ShS as MCs.

Having movie around God Valley is refreshing and nice change to the anime movies we usually get. No usual MCs with an intriguing plot which hasn't been explored fully will attract more OP fans to watch it.

In order to attract non OP but anime fans, a lot depends upon how the movie gets executed and not on the absence/presence of SHs. Not to mention, non OP fans have no idea about God Valley anyway so your argument is mute.

Will it break records? Can't say. Depends on the execution and reception

Yeah, but they still do, because they have self contained plots. In Japan at least, film red and some others were huge.

I'm not sure what's so exciting about a rehash of what we already saw in the manga. You can maybe say that Oda can add new details, but I don't see how that fixes the plot it's based on being so...disappointing.

I literally cannot think of a movie where the villain just straight up leaves during the climax.....which happens in GV. The all powerful villain who could kill everyone just decides he should go. If you saw that in theatres, you might as well just leave yourself. Or even the island not even really having anything super special about it beyond just the population. No twist about an ancient weapon or anything, it just sinks through Haki...

I mean, maybe the Celestial Dragon/void century/Davy stuff will make sense to casuals, but idk about that. Feels a little complicated I think

I'd like to see a parallel to the combined attack on Imu during the GV fight.

Luffy/Loki/Big Mom/Kaido/Hajrudin/Gaban
Really hoping we see this, too.

My 6 is Luffy, Shanks, Mihawk, Blackbeard, Loki, and Dragon, but if Kaido and Linlin show up, I think it will be Luffy, Shanks, Blackbeard, Loki, then Kaido and Linlin. I gotta a lot of people coming to Elbaph. It's a rare situation where everyone knows the Straw Hats went to a specific island, and between Loki/Elbaph's army, the country is very desirable to powerful players. So, I think we'll see a big mix of people between groups wanting to see the Straw Hats (Boa/Rayleigh, Moria, Dragon), and groups trying to recruit Loki (Cross Guild and Blackbeard)/take over Elbaph.

Kaido is dead, he will never come back
Doffy is in jail, he will never come back
Oda said he had plans for Doflamingo in Wano, originally.

I think they just got pushed back, because Oda realized Doffy needed his own dedicated arc. Personally, I am AVID to see Doffy and Kaido interact.

I'm pretty sure Teach can use the Abyss via the Yami's Awakening, so, I think he'll pull back up to Impel Down, and then have Caribou use his powers to extract the prisoners, then dump them all in Marijoa to cause mass chaos. The Blackbeard Pirates would have to make their own Seals with Teach, though.

This is a big moment for Kuzan, to me: if Teach gives his Crew Marks of the Abyss, Kuzan is literally making a deal with a devil in a new dress (oh yeah, work it Teach, show it all off, YAS)

I really believe Kuzan looked at Blackbeard, then looked at the WG, and openly decided Teach's world would be better than Imu's. Still not sure if he'll betray Teach.

But Doflamingo only cares about one thing: revenge for his mother.

I think Doflamingo will end up working with both Cross Guild and Teach through a Blackbeard x Cross Guild alliance. Mihawk and Croc don't want the One Piece, they want a military utopia. Helping Teach get the One Piece to destroy the WG, while Cross Guild gets Wano, a natural military fortress to be Croc's Utopia, gives both parties what they want.

Only question is when are Kaido and Linlin popping out of Mt. Fuji like fine champagne?

Doflamingo and Blackbeard are a good alliance, because their goal is the same, murder the shit out of the Celestial Dragons.

If they do Season 3 of the Netflix well, I think these movies will do very well as a result.
