On the contrary, I am greatly enjoying my life as a whole, and I have found other centers of interest and newer manga to read that I'm enjoying far more than modern One Piece, lol.

Far from it. And I wouldn't be cynical about One Piece, a manga I loved and that was part of my youth, if it hadn't let me down so much, so many times, after the timeskip.

I started reading in 1988, thought it was ok at first, then loved it and now still think it's ok most of the time. I would have still liked it a lot if Oda didn't retcon Luffy's identity.

Fair criticism but for me personally i don't mind that the strawhats aren't always the focus, what i like most about one piece is all the side and supporting characters that keeps the world so big and exciting how even while we're watching the strawhats adventure there's a whole story taking place off screen a lot of stories begin to feel stagnant and stale when it completely revolves around the main characters

With one piece every arc we get introduced to new islands, new characters and even old favorites return and still relevent in the story

I never has been against the focus not being solely on the Straw Hats, in fact there are many characters who are more interesting to focus on them. The problem is that the story since the timeskip has often focused too much on side characters who weren't good or interesting, some of them were outright atrocious, such as Oden. And also the Straw Hats have become flanderized or reduced to just serving as figurants instead of really evolving and for the better, and Luffy became unbearable to me.
