That is the problem to be honest.
In terms of tension and pacing, it’s really poorly handled. When a villain unveils a new form, they’re portrayed as overpowered; they shouldn't be made to look like a joke in that very same chapter. It completely kills the tension and seriousness when the final villain, in his new form, gets humiliated by Hajrudin. The problem isn't even that Hajrudin and the others are getting these feats, but if they do, it should be against the weaker version, the one that was already capable of destroying everyone.
From a writing standpoint, it’s very poorly executed. The form upgrade was so random and even then it was so meangless since it seems to not be make any difference...
