Nice cope but
1. Luffy is immune to lightning and resistant to blunt attacks
2. Luffy willingly got hit by Loki's attack meant to hurt Imu, just to boost himself
3. Luffy moves so fast that he jumped from some random branch to Loki's hammer before Loki even finished swinging meaning he's too fast for Loki.
4. Holy Knights and Wings are fodder eternally capped below current Luffy

Atp my main consolation is that his opponents should be really OP and he should be weakened from leaving MJ.

I still find it so lame that Luffy ate his way back up from getting obliterated.

No, he won't. Lol. Do people think that whole sub-plot with Blackbeard wanting to join the WG (and become an official nation) will immediately happen and get paid off by Blackbeard randomly being in Marie Jois and killing Imu right after Elbaf......when Blackbeard has NO WAY OF KNOWING IMU MIGHT BE WEAKEBED RIGHT NOW? BB isn't a moron. He isn't going to charge in guns blazing into a fight he isn't ready for against what he assumes to be a full power Imu.

I can absolutely see him snaking Imu at some point, but not NOW, or any time soon. He would do it like WB, in a situation where he KNEW his enemy would have to fight many other strong opponents and would get worn down to a level he thought he could handle..........mind you, BB also has a habit of overestimating himself even then, which is why he needed his whole crew to save him from the weakest version of WB. Keep that in mind when it comes to a potential Imu snaking as well. 😅

Blackbeard doesn't need to know Imu is weakened.

He has the Yami Yami DF, which is very likely the DF that Xebec wanted.

It's been only a matter of days since Saturn died in-story. The window for Devon using that likeness to lower defenses will close sooner than later.

To that end, we have never seen Blackbeard fight at full power. He's the first person to mention Haki by name and we don't even know what he can or can't do with it.

Imu is a relic of the past and out of time. I'm confident he will be vanquished before 2027 has come and gone.

Many *One Piece* fans are hasty, analyzing fights on a chapter-by-chapter basis. If Imu takes a few combined hits, people immediately label him weak—ignoring the fact that he’s facing two Yonko-level opponents and isn't at 100% capacity in Elbaf.

The worst part is that these guys have read nearly 1,200 chapters yet still don't understand how most fights play out.

An enemy appears, Luffy loses, Luffy gains power, the enemy powers up, the enemy takes several hits, Luffy loses again, Luffy awakens his full power, and the fight concludes with everyone fighting at their peak strength.

Even Shanks himself does not believe he is stronger than Imu.
Shanks challenged Blackbeard, whereas he referred to Imu as an immeasurable power.
