Honestly after seeing the raws...Imu actually doesn't look that bad. Seems more annoyed than actually hurt while Luffy looks pretty serious.
And what injuries he does take he seemingly healed by the mid point of the chapter.

While only getting hit like....twice. one of those being the hit at the start of the chapter, and the other being the one at the END, with him blocking or dodging everything else relatively easily. Like, he got sent flying by the big combo attack, recovered, Loki came in swinging repeatedly, he dodges. Luffy comes in? He counters with Omen bombs and blocks Luffy's attack. Then blocks even harder to the point Luffy hurts HIMSELF. Then follows up and slaps Luffy through a tree (or embeds him into it?). Then Loki tries to launch a big attack (which doesn't seem like it would do much on its own), and Luffy jumps into it to try to get extra force or something to punch through/sneak past Imu's defence and land another hit.

And 99.99% that won't do much either. He really doesn't look that bad, its just optics because of how strong we think he should logically be, and how Oda probably shouldn't be letting people get hits on him like that.....even if only the strongest characters are doing ANYTHING useful and Imu just heals straight away, it LOOKS bad, even if on paper its not.

Not bad fight chapter at least loki and luffy for certain looking better here .

oh you dont enjoy imu getting sent flying for the 512th time to the tree
Kaido fight was so much longer but i mean if we compare chapter count the first set chapters was just him taking hits from the scabbards.
The the 5 supernova and spamming bolo and TB with both groups , Imu did way more in same span of time .

Imu struggling more than I thought, he looks defeatable in this chapter ngl
Luffy's guard being able to, for the most part, protect him from a slash of two founder blades in the hands of a powered-up Imu is the most egregious part of his performance this chapter. More egregious than the shield from Temu or Gokoku Sovereignty having a noticeable effect.

What happened to Luffy's mortal wounds?
I think the only clear shot we had of Luffy's chest still had the stab wounds? At the start, when we see the close ups of everyone when they use the Gokoku Sovereignty. Luffy has two distinct wounds with blood trailing down from them.

And the rest of the chapter he still has a fair bit of blood on him in every shot. Unless I'm missing something?

Well at least Luffy was on the grond for 2-3 pages, after the bullshit regen last chapter it's clear Oda will make G5 as tough as needed.
This chapter makes clear why Oda didn't have Luffy and Loki fight first form Imu together
