True, but to be fair, if we're working with the assumption that the hellfire serpent will for certain be featured in the EoS in some way, it would probably be preferable if it wasn't some animal-like entity with little to no motivation or characterization of its own. Attaching it to an already existing character like Shamrock would wildly separate him from the rest of the HKs in terms of threat-level if Lolda stlll cares about establishing things like that.

Also, fun fact, it turns out Cerberi are pretty heavily associated with snakes. Most old af depictions gave it snakes for extra heads / a tail. Hell, at least one interpretation of Cerberus was just a big powerful snake.
I read about it just yesterday.

The raws have Loki saying “I was too big” while huffing so it wasn’t exactly a mistranslation, he does seem to drain stamina the bigger he gets
