@soupongo I think people meme so much about how “One Piece will never end” that some people start to take it too seriously and actually fail to realize that the story is actually nearing its end. I think that’s part of the reason why so many people fail to realize that it’s just too late for certain theories to happen, or that we’re nearing that point. Hence why you still have people who think we’re getting a Moon arc, that Shiki will return, and that CG and Doffy still have plenty of time to make a move

They wont get an entire arc dedicated for themselves though.
CG's entire thing is to justify Zoro vs Mihawk without it looking like some weird ass sidequest.

They’ll make a move in the same way the Seraphiller will make a move. They won’t live up to the hype. Most likely Oda will just use some “funny” lame gag as an excuse to pretend like they’re actually a relevant player

Cross Guild will probably just participate in a Davy Back Fight against the SHS. Any conflict against Buggy is obviously not going to be that serious, and this will be the perfect opportunity to set up against a fight against Zoro and Mihawk,

@soupongo It’s still crazy to me how Oda just offscreened the Seraphiller being captured by the SHs. I thought for sure we were gonna get flashback showing what really happened, but turns out those bums are so irrelevant that Oda just couldn’t be bothered, and that fact that literally no one in the community ever complains about that getting offscreened just show how little anyone actually cares about them

Tbf the fight isn’t over yet, so Sommers probably has one more trick up his sleeve. Unfortunately though, this chapter proves that Zoro’s ACoC “powerup” this arc will be (predictably) terrible and needlessly confusing, as has been the case with Haki over the past 20 years

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that these three still have unknown histories. Buggy is the only yonko whose lineage is still completely unknown to us as well

Btw my comment was never that Zoro cannot use stabs but rather that I can't really remember him using them.

I just checked the wiki. It’s actually a 3 sword attack

Waiting for the newest cope now. Sanji is getting manhandled by the weaker HK while Zoro is just practicing on the stronger one.
The sad part is how Oda will keep Zoro away even after this, another Lucci stall fest maybe or Birdcage.
The last time I can remember Zoro using someone as a practice fight for a new skill was probably the Pica fight or the Skype a warrior fight when Zoro first used the Pound Phoenix.
