Aokiji was caught off guard while busy dealing with Whitebeard and yet all Jozu managed to do is to give him a bloody lip.

That either goes to show Aokiji's durability is fairly impressive, or Jozu's AP isn't that impressive.

However, goes to show pretty much anyone at Jozu's level should be able to draw blood with a direct hit to Aokiji's face, when he's off guard

Kuzan noticed less second, like Imcel against Luffy, I don't think that it counts as off guard.

The problem is that other YC level characters legit don't have the feats to draw blood from an admiral, like Marco, Vista etc

Cracker, King, Queen and Yamato also never did, though it's a bit harder to say it's 1-1 like Akainu and Kuzan

Doffy's AP is clearly his worst stat, he struggled in injuring a character who was one shot by base Kaido.

Second part is BS, Crocodile did no damage to Akainu, with help of like half the Whitebeard pirates

Yup, and even if it doesn’t, everything else gets stronger. Rayleigh’s words… haki gets stronger with overall strength. We had a prime example of this when Kaido‘s haki was getting stronger as he was using a new mode.
