Powers & Abilities Why is Oda pretending that Zoro can’t already use AdvCoC?

#41
What's the difference?
The haki Zoro can control. Right now KoH mode is just pulling out Zoros CoC, but Zoro doesn’t know how to control it so it’s mostly being wasted as if he was just using fodder knock out CoC constantly. After this hopefully Zoro will be able to instead cost the blades in the CoC Enma pulls and he’s able to bring our as well making him much stronger

We already saw Zoro coat his blades into aCoC.
What will be the difference between KoH DD before and after Elbaf?

Let's forget EVERYTHING Zoro did with black CoC lightning.
How does lolda even pretend now that Zoro can't use it consciously when he did this on panel?

It's the same move. Just one sided as king doesn't have it.

If the current event is not something entirely different Oda will make a fool of himself by drawing Zoro do things he did 150 chapters ago.

I'll wait and see what this is about tbh.

This thread proves that people are either skim reading the manga or cannot read

King of Hell is when Zoro lets Enma take as much Haki as it wants and keeping that drain consistent, basically he is allowing Enma free reign

It sucks out so much (pause) Haki that it also pulls out Zoro's Conqueror's Haki

That's it, that's all King of Hell is

King of Hell is when Zoro outputs massive amounts of Haki to meet Enma's demands

Zoro is not aware that he has Conqueror's Haki and probably thinks all Enma draws out is Armament Haki

What he's doing now is drawing out Conqueror's Haki on his own, with his own control over it, how he coats it, the output, etc. without relying on Enma

What’s going on here?

KoH is AdvCoC, isn’t it? Just because Zoro didn’t know it was AdvCoC doesn’t mean it wasn’t right?

so what’s this chapter even about?

the best guess I can get is that Zoro always uses Armament alongside AdvCoC but apparently Zoro is trying to learn how to do AdvCoC without armament… is that it?

so Zoro could’ve killed Sommers this chapters if he uses KoH… He’s just using him to practice something that’s not useful because why would he need to do AdvCoC without Armament to begin with? I mean even Roger and Garp use both at the same time in the Domi Rocks fight.
It's not rocket science.. Zoro doesn't have AdCoC.. Enma takes his unawared CoC wave and activate KoH..

There's a precedent of Enma taking Zoro's CoA..

The whole point is Zoro has to learn how to infuse CoC because KoH ain't cutting it as it stands..

Its just cope or denial or both.

This chapter essentially proves that Zoro only used Conquerer's haki against King thanks to Enma, which a lot of zoro fans have been disputing for years.

Having ones head cannon broken is always painful, expect a couple more threads around this chapter.

He drew CoC in the fight, but since One Piece fandom needs expositive dialogues to understand simple things, of course some people will contradict this.
Where was it said that CoC is drawn a certain way? Like a character seeing that particular effect and saying "yeah, that looks like Conqueror Haki"?

Maybe this is what Oda intended and sheepishly walked back, but the silent walk back was possible because he never actually said as much. He hasn't had to lie or retcon this because he never established anything.

That’s what gonna be funny, seeing Oda give “Mastered AdvCoC Zoro” the same visual cue and the same technic than “Don’t know what CoC is Zoro” :risiflip:

I agree with what you said but this raises a question.
How is Zoro supposed to win against Sommers then?
Controlling his Coc isn't going to have him output a stronger attack than when Enma drains him completely, and that was already blocked effortlessly by Sommers.

Zoro would need to get stronger.

"Zoro was using basic CoA vs Lucci"
You are trolling but based on what most of the community is believing now “KoH is Zoro putting all his haki at the same time”, Zoro not calling the attack against Lucci “KoH” proves that he did not used all his haki and thus not his CoC in this attack.

Zoro using AdvCoC against Lucci would mean that Zoro is actually able to coat AdvCoC at will which he cannonically can’t.

Now let’s appreciate how stupid Oda décision is.
