@Monster Zoro's Tesla Supplier when you share a video not understanding that it is actually making fun of you:
Logiko when you ask him to explain why one piece can never have any flaws ever when every other manga does:
:milaugh:

Also, One Piece do has flaws, just not post-TS or Wano, or Egghead as Saga..

:sanmoji:

One arc has to be the worst. What’s your pick?
I'd say Foxy's arc and Punk Hazard. They are the only one where I feels things are kind mehish even if technically I still love both arcs.

how do you live like this dude you can't even bare having to criticize a manga just because you happen to like it a lot
any normal person would still be able to criticize something they love. adventure time is my favorite cartoon (besides maybe teen titans) but i know it has a lot of flaws especially in the later seasons
goodnight punpun is probably my favorite manga yet i can acknowledge that it still has flaws here and there
it's healthy to be able to see things from a neutral perspective.

Wano .

Except Luffy vs Kaido fight which is extremely long and great everything else is complete disaster especially because Oda was slowly building up entire post skip for this arc.

Trash story , trash characters , 9 scabbards were waste of time , Oden and his flashback a huge failure , Kaido apart from his strength is a trash character and should have been defeated as Raid boss not and not in the end owned in 1 vs 1 by G5 Luffy , Big Mom ruined beyond saving in fact putting her there was huge mistake , missed opportunity for Zoro to have more time to shine and have some significant character development, introduction of Nika is one of worst moves Oda ever made.

Overall such a garbage arc.
Great taste as usual from @Djordje Sama. Boa Hancock sexiness was wasted on offscreen. Oda still chasing that high lmao

Lmao, I critic One Piece, I simply avoid doing it here and usually, my critics are not relevant enough to make a big fuss out of it.

Is it so hard to think that I don't agree with you based on a real genuingly healthy love for the story?

True, I just have very few critics, that's all.

You are crtiicizing things that I find brilliant and I have actual narrative reason to think so.. I don't know what to tell you

I love Dressrosa but I heard a lot of weekly readers dropped the series around this point and the anime's pacing and bad animation only amplified the negative reception.
A lot of hate came at the time indeed.

Someone said MF, or pre ts because it took the standards to peak and Oda couldn't continue the story at that level/ downgraded instead. One user gave tons of other reasons for MF- while i agree with some but i don't agree with calling MF at fault. It's one way of looking at it- but i wouldn't align myself and find faults in things for being good. Also, it's true MF and Pre ts were amazing but nothing that couldn't be topped.

I'd personally say- bad arcs like FMI are not the problem. Stretched hundred chapters/tons of buildup & hyped bad arcs are.

This momentum of long arcs - started with Dressrosa where characters kept running for dozen of chapters to reach the top to fight Doffy. Still, end of day was just one arc. Similar things continued in Whole cake - when the arc had no pay off for Sanji misfortunes/low points and characters kept running from BM for dozen of chapters. Oda also failed to kill characters - when end of the arc implied entirety of Fishermans and Germa were at life risk. Pound was shown alive too.

Absolute worst of all was Wano- when the culmination of Yonkou saga- all the buildup since FI arc was played out. Users had been hyped about Kaidou since his intro- which didn't turn out to be half of what he was first implied to be. First, the poor flashback of Oden, Oda pushing down fans throat how goat of a character Oden was- which made fans dislike him instead. Kaidou- rumored to be strongest- in his first shown fight was knocked down in one hit by henchman of Roger, and even when he won it was with a cheapshot. That costed arc the most. Oda also introduced hundred of characters - when he was failing to properly shine even all the SHs, no one was interested in that many newly introduced characters. The bad fights- none of Beast pirates showing awakening and characters beating them in anti-climactic manner without major boosts/difficulty. Kaidou and BM rooftop showcase, and unfruitful final fights. BM outdone without any significant improvements from Law/Kidd - who were later low diffed/one shot. Kaidou played arround by goofy form of Luffy- G5. The stakes never felt high or difficult - even though Luffy was dead for a few chapters.

I think Wano is where most people including me- stopped reading weekly chapters.
I'd say Wano is easily the worst arc in Onepiece.

:goatasure: these people can't be serious
Yeah man how dare they criticize Goda. They should just be mindless robots who agree with whatever nonsense you say instead of having unique opinions that they actually back up with evidence instead of just saying "erm achshually oda's a very deep and profound author and you simply aren't intelligent enough to understand such an esoteric work of art"

There's no rhetoric at play.
Either you say "Wano has no flaws" or you say "the post-Wano saga has no flaws" or the "the post-ts has no flaws", it's all the same shit.
My point is that all arcs have flaws, but not the flaw of being bad arcs in themselves.

Yeah man how dare they criticize Goda.
You can criticize Oda all you want, I'm talking about One Piece here, I don't care much about what you think about Oda.

Intelligence is not a concept I believe in really. To me it's all about media literacy. Something that we can learn, not something that we are born with.
