Powers & Abilities What is this Disney ass “Sense of self” nonsense?

#62
The construction of the power system at some point derailed and became solely based on 'reminiscing on past training' to understand better what must be done to attain higher levels which is ridiculous but based on how Oda prolonged this story to the point of not being able to properly function and make it make sense it's understandable he's making shortcuts.

Sense of self basically means they know completely who they are and they are arrogant about it, when its about the aspects that define their character, who they really are, they simply never back down, its called unwavering will.

Drunk yonkou is top Tier and other Human bum depending on his science/tech
Furthermore Oda is Random with that (sengoku,Kidd..)
huh? Kaido drunk yonko i mean theyre all drunks..... judge? guy couldnt even get past lanji on WCI the same lanji who at best knocked out a tooth from a defenseless luffy using named attacks and was negged by BM, hell couldnt get past kat and his kids who were all superior to lanji during this arc all got negged by kat at once....

sengoku is literally the FA and a top tier from the old gen, highly considered an equal to garp....

thinking kidd is random is funny, dude has a forever undying will has he gotten bodied sure but guess what hes never backed down from a single yonko, gets put down and gets up and continues to fight until he physically can not go on.

fought kaido, captured still never bent the knee, escaped fought kaido then BM in the same arc, went after shanks during TS fought his RHM lost but thats not the point went back and challenged shanks and if it wasnt for FS kidd wouldve taken out like 99% of shanks forces in one go... kid has more kingly ambition to be a conqueror than like 90% of the known and suspected CoC users.

try again....

But Zoros use is not crude and clumsy (so far at least). Zoros haki regulation is way better even in Wano.
yeah cause it fucking blooms in the midst of battle and once again read the manga.

h literally says idk i just put everything i had into the attack....

life or death, in that case it was luffy dies or zoro pushes himself beyond to save him

It's One Piece ffs.

Don't expect logic or well thought out power systems.

Oda just wings it and his sheep followers keep salivating "Goda" even when he delivers nonsense again.
he still has you discussing his work nearly 30 years later, here you are week after week having Goda live rent free in your head.

drop the manga, get off a orum this was specifically built for OP, go read DS or MHA or AoT or some other overrated new gen adhd animanga

Some of us been on the money what defines a Conqueror.

I think what all the known conquerors have in common is not merely ambition, competitiveness or drive - but an innate desire to live life completely on their own terms, however unreasonable or downright delusional, thereby in essence conquering life itself.
imo the reason people like Luffy, Don Chinjao and other odd ducks are Conquerors is because they're odd ducks. Their conquest is life itself. They live life on their own terms, and only their own terms. For good or ill, they are, by nature, unreasonable people.
The will to risk everything to have it their way is like the defining trait of Conquerors. Even cowardly ones like Black Beard.
I think the defining factor of those who have it should be people that unreasonably live life on their terms, no matter the cost, for whatever whim or reason they fall upon.
Conquerors aren't all larger than life characters, but they tend to be unreasonable people, as I imagine a conqueror would have to be from the outset to believe in themselves and their aspirations.
If I could boil it down: to me, a Conqueror is the master of their fate (for good or ill), and I view Sakazuki as a slave to ideology.

Absolute Justice is a fascist ideology, and fascism cages all.

Conquerors are their own sovereigns.
Conquerors don't have to lead. They just have to live life completely on their own terms, that is not mutually exclusive with following someone worthy of it.
Conquerors should be the masters of their own fates. They should be the type of unreasonable people that live on their own terms and create their own gravity, for better or worse, good or ill.
I think being in Conqueror is more about than drive and ambition. Fundamentally, I believe Conquerors are those that live life completely on their own terms with total conviction. They are, in essence, free.
Conquerors live their lives how they want. They're free. For better or worse, they do what they want to and don't do what they don't - entirely on their terms.

Sanji living his life so unreasonably is exactly why he does meet the requirements.
I don't think Conqueror's are defined by desiring things or imposing their will on others.

What all known Conquerors have in common is imposing their will on life. They're generally unreasonable people that believe in themselves unreasonably. For better or worse, they live only on their own terms.
If there's one identifiable trait among known (and suspected) Conquerors, it is this concept of total personal sovereignty, which effectively equates to living life entirely fully committed to their goals and ideals.
Conquerors aren't defined by why what they want to achieve in life.

They're defined by how they live their lives.

Nonsense.

By these criteria, any delusional loser could have Conqueror's Haki.

Shamelessly mooching off others? That's just '"living your life as you please".

Being an entitled little twerp? You're just "following your own desires".

And the bit about Papazuki is next-level stupid.

Are you actually this dumb or is English not your first language?

A loser, by definition, cannot be a conqueror.

Nothing is stupider than needing a father figure from manga. That's what you Akainu fanboys have in common, y'all are by and large losers in need a daddy. :suresure:

Afroking summed it up well, it lines up with other statements.
Don't be stuck with specific translation, see the overall meaning...
Realising thy own strength and not doubting it leads to power, which lines up with Mihawk telling Zoro to use his willpower to surpass his blade and him. And willpower is not haki, it is a thing that commands haki.
Y'all not taking into consideration that Zoro did not awaken his CoC the same way that most conquerors like Luffy did with the '' self '', that's important to understand the last part of the chapter..

It was inconsistent
It was present in earlier attack but missing in next, this was not Zoros first time using it.
Luffy was using it first time so it was crude and clumsy.
The AdCoC that Luffy accomplished and the AdCoC that Zoro is trying to accomplish are 2 distinct fields..

Shut your clown ass up. You said Zoro can't use ACoC on his attacks cause he a Swordsman and according to you should never defeat Sommers

Mihawk literally told Zoro this in like chapter 52
I will die on this hill, and I've been claiming it for YEARS, maybe even a DECADE, that Mihawk noticed Zoros and Luffys CoC back in Baratie. As did Zeff who knew all about Grandline and perhaps even New World.

Arlong who had fought vs Kizaru as well as served under Jinbei and Fisher Tiger (died early but otherwise a potential CoC user) also noticed that Zoros will power and killing intent was different. Dorry (or was it Brogy?) noticed it vs Mr3.

I would also bet anything that guys like Coby and especially Wyper have it. What Wyper did in Skypiea by tanking multiple Rejects, Enels top tier attacks and keep getting up is bat shit crazy feats.

It should be noted Zoro did kinda cheat by having a magic sword draw out said Conqueror's Haki for him.
lol & sanji was given a magic body by having his dad experiment then having a science based suit exponentially increase his body in which no other vinsmoke has attained lol

yeah stfu already

zoro has one sword that devours haki sanji got 4 powercreeps to get to zoros base level

Except that Enma is a sword that (somehow) literally drags the user's Haki into it, Vinsmoke genetics or raid suits have no implementation of such a thing.

That's literally what happened: Enma brought out his latent ability.
