Omen killingham low diffs Queen lmao wtf?
Killingham currently is defeating SANJI, who was clearly a tier above Queen at the time
Sure its because of his regen but thats part of his kit
Killingham also defeats any other YC1 maybe besides king
And killingham isnt even using his df against sanji lol
We also dont know what his weapon does exactly

[DarkWitch]

Anyone putting Killingham above Queen this early is doing it out of recency bias, for now Queen imo is still above Killingham.

Only reason why Queen would lose is because of the regen.

Same with King and Sommers.

[PuckTheGreat]

He has awesome hax, and maki but the point is how much of Sanjis Wano PU is he actually using. However, by what Killingham is saying, this entire fight has been Sanji blitzing him using his more casual speed then Killingham surviving because of regen following by him countering with Longinus.

But again, I’m going to more judge this fight and killingham after we see Sanjis eyebrows flip imo.

Sanji is using Ifrit
Sanji’s invisible speed is useless here coz he can’t deal any meaningful damage to Kiringham. Will only end up exhausting himself
Sanji’s eyebrows are not flipped but Kiringham implies that he’s using his exoskeleton.

Issue atm is not that Sanji’s holding back but that Kiringham hax makes all of that void. Moreover, right now Sanji in an already battered up state is having to fight a battle of endurance against Kiringham all the whilst also fighting a psychological battle. So he’s physically nerfed, is currently distracted coz of his psyche & is being pit against a ghost that takes no damage from regular attacks hence why he’s taken so much damage & where the difficulty is coming from.

That said the fact that Sanji is still standing, all the above considered after taking multiple attacks from Longinus is pretty insane tbh 💀. We saw just how powerful one of those attack are.

Anyways Sanji’s nerfs are defo helping Kiringham in this fight but gotta give credit where it’s due.

Kiringham’s battle IQ, his AP & Hax are looking very impressive atm. His movement speed is also top notch. I think he cooks Queen tbh.

Killingham was remarking on his toughness, but I question that Killinghams spear is casually piercing through an exoskeleton that shattered a sword on contact. With zero actual comment from Sanji about it? I’m going to hold my judgement until the end of the fight on this. I’m not referring to the thunderbolt, but rather the stab at the end of the chapter btw.

Sanji is using Ifrit, but after Oda showed Zoro using KoH without CoC, I don’t think we can assume that the characters have mastery over their Wano PUs yet let alone conscious control.

I’m saying I’m reserving judgement until after the flashback.

[Doggo]

I have no clue what you guys are coping about

[Rumble]

I agree, the problem I think it's in the name "exoskeleton".

I think the main issue is believing there can be on and off button for genetic mutation. Conceptually, that's stupid, and from a writing perspective it makes even less sense. Thankfully, Oda understood this.

[Julius]

Damn, that makes sense

He did for someone else and it worked, but he doesn't love himself at all

Eyebrows shifting make no sense either, but it's there.

It's not like Zoro bandana put on, but an actual physical change.
Eyebrows shifting indicate some change in Sanji's- body. Next chapter will make it clear.

Ask readers the question what title should Sanji get? And one of suggestion from editor was King of Angels

They fucking know it will be sky or heaven releated

About next chapter i do think we will see either female version of Sanji or Okama moment in flashback but that won't be his king/coc moment
Oda is going to do a gag scene with Ivankov

The eyebrow flip reflects heightened emotions.

I went over all the evidence months ago and the illiterate bums in this thread saw fit to disagree because they can't separate wishful thinking from evidence. Now they're trying to make excuses about final confirmations or whatever the fuck.

I don't think the eyebrow flip is indicative of what Germa upgrades are active.

I think all the Germa upgrades are permanent, but the eyebrow flip indicates a different change.

I think that the eyebrow flip not being indicative of his genes activating is weird writing. Because every time his Exoskeleton has had a Big feat his eyebrows have pointed to the right like his siblings. Like at the end of the Queen fight, against S Shark and every time he used IJ in Egghead and when he uses IJ against the cat.

Use Occams Razor dude. Why show Sanjis eyebrows change back to normal after the Queen fight if not to show Sanjis going back to normal? His brothers have always have them pointing to the right but Sanji is different. And His personality hasnt really changed with his eyebrows. He was talking about the Power of love to S Shark and Kizaru with his eyebrows pointing to the right like his brothers. So it MUST show his exo activating.

Not only is there no evidence the Germa upgrades are toggled on and off, there is evidence that they're not.

We have explanations of the genetic modifications from Judge and Yonji.

We've seen Sanji outpace lasers without his eyebrow turned.

We've seen Sanji use Ifrit without his eyebrow turned twice now, The first did not get corrected in the volume.

We've seen Sanji shake off a kick from Kizaru and attack from Saturn unguarded, as well Nusjuro biting him.

I'm looking at the wider context. It's not for you tell me about Occam's Razor, it's for you to do same.

Yeah, what Sora did allows him to have complete control over his genes. Rather than a natural and passive feature of his body, he can command his brain to have his exo be physically expressed or not, it's basically just like moving or talking.

Even certain animals have the ability to edit their genetic information at will to adapt to their environment.

Assuming Sanji has to have the Exoskeleton to archive incredible feats is underselling both his speed and strength in base. Pre ts strawhats like Sanji were tanking lasers penetrating their body, why is a light speed kick any different? Luffy was blitzing pacifista lasers in base post ts. This just shows how incredibly strong Sanji is and that he has many levels. What You are saying is making him look entirely dependent on the genes. Also You didnt address the fact his personality is the same with the eyebrows turned or not. So the change they represent must be physical not mental or at least mostly physical. This is common sense.

I didn't say Sanji needs the exoskeleton for speed.

Are you forgetting Sanji got other upgrades beside that? Germa modification boosted him across the board.

Pre-TS Sanji was surviving* getting shot with a laser.

No one has demonstrated the ability to outright tank Kizaru's lasers besides G5 Luffy.

There's clear indication Kizaru didn't expect Sanji to get back up so quickly.

Why are you ignoring the other examples?

No, but what this comment makes clear is that your objections aren't rooted in substance, but insecurity over how Sanji is perceived.

I literally did address it. I said there is evidencde the eyebrow flip is indicative of a psychological change, not a physical one.

Again, see the difference between Sanji's use of Ifrit in 1127 and then again in 1129. He was angry in the first, the wasn't in the second.

No it wasn't. Haki can't block or destroy lasers.

It was a Power of Love feat. PoL is not Haki.

The only other alternative is Sanji's inherent Germa ability having to do with light manipulation.

I think the flip is indicative of heightened emotions, for good or bad.

We saw Sanji angrily manhandling S-Shark on his own while his crewmates were going 2v1.

Spoiler

The flip only happened when Sanji protected Nami and latter Bonney. Both times he seemed rather calm.

Spoiler

When he attacked Nusjuro, his eyebrow was back to normal.

Spoiler

He tanked his horse bite without the eyebrow flipped also. In fact, it didn't seem to do any damage at all.

Spoiler

It didn't seem to make him more evil against Queen, or when he deflected Kizaru's laser. It's not a coincidence his eyebrow was back to normal right after defeating Queen, when he was done using IJ.

The fact it wasn't corrected in the volume release doesn't mean much, considering it's such a tiny detail that's very easy to miss, really. The guys who correct those mistakes have to notice them in the first place. I'm not even sure they know how Sanji's exo is supposed to work.

On the eyebrow ting, don't think Sanji is using Ifrit if his eyebrows are not flipped.
When the M3 defeated the Cat/Lion zoan at the start of the arc, Sanji used Ifrit and his eyebrow was flipped.
When he and Zoro destroyed the net Road cast to try to capture the SHs at the begining of the arc, his eyebrow wasn't flipped but he didn't name the attack

So given there is a scenario where Sanji is using Ifrit with his eyebrow flipped I think if he's using Ifrit without it then it is either a mistake or Oda mistakenly named Diable Jambe, Ifrit Jambe.

It was Ifrit.

You can very clearly see the sparks flowing from the flame.

Oda didn't correct it in volume release, and the eyebrow being flipped is something he does pay attention to.

The only difference is Sanji's mood.

Again it wasn't named so your above claim is conjucture sadly, even if it admittedly does look like Ifrit.
Oda is bloody lazy, could be that he couldn't be arsed to change the above panel coz it wasn't named.
Again, the fact that in the very chapter before that one Sanji is using Ifrit with his eyebrow flipped completely debunks your claim.

Also eyebrow flip is supposed to be an indicator that Sanji is using his germa abiltiies and Ifrit Jambe is something that is born from combining his exoskeleton with armamnet to give his body the durability to withstand the heat of those flames. I get the appeal of "Sanji is now strong enough to use Ifrit without the exoskeleton" but that just makes thing messy without Oda explicitly stating so. Also make it difficult to know when Sanji is using the exoskeleton or not.

For your angle to work Sanji has to comment directly on it maybe with something like "I don't need the exoskeleton anymore"

Don't really care about that tbh.
For one Sanji spaming Ifrit can only be a good ting coz it means we are going to be getting something even stronger soon.
That said I do think Oda intended for Sanji to use Ifrit in the latest chapter given the context of Franky and Jimbe using their strongest attacks. So eyebrow will most likely get corrected in the official volume.

It didn’t get corrected last time.

Don't think he named whether it was Diable or Ifrit against S-Shark iirc but again if he's exoskeleton is active, then he's probably using Ifrit.

If Oda doesn't see it as a necessity anymore he'd tell us.
If the argument being made is that Sanji's eyebrows are not flipped in all of the panels of Sanji using Ifrit on Elbaf then fair enuff. Then we can have the argument that Oda is intentionally having him use it without his eyebrows flipped but like I already stated in my reply to Rumble, in the chapter before the very panel he's using as a basis for his argument, Sanji's eyebrows were flipped when he was using Ifrit and it wasn't corrected in the official volumes. So the notion that Oda doesn't see it as a necessity anymore is false.

Also my next question is why are were so obssesed with Sanji using Ifrit without the exoskeleton?
I get that the implication is that his haki got stronger but what exactly does that achieve and how is that better than Sanji using his exoskelton?

Okay Sanji can use Ifrit without his exoskelton, his he going to now forgo the exoskeleton and not use it anymore or is the argument that Sanji can now generate hotter flames if he stacks the exoskeleton on it?

This argument undermines Sanji's exoskeleton and also the development he got on Wano and also makes his whole awakening with seemingly no downsides redundant.

Look at the flip in this particular page.

Sanji blasts the fuck out of S-Shark.

Attends to Nami.

Then turns demonic to express his rage.

Again, the main difference between Sanji using Ifrit in 1127 and 1129 is his mood.

@Rumble
Why are we ignoring the logical argument in front of us for something so speculative like mood?
So the argument is that when Sanji is angry his eyebrows are not flipped but when he's calm his eyebrows are flipped?
What even is the point of that? and was Sanji not angry when he beat the shite out of Queen for hurting a woman or when he saved Nami from the Cat/Lion alongside the M3 at the begining of the arc?

@Rumble

What is logical about Sanji's genetic modifications having a one and off switch?

There is no logic to it.

More importantly, there is no evidence for it.

I posted the panels multiple times. Sanji demonstrated the same kind of speed and resilience without the flip.

You're the ones going off conjecture and feeling, not evidence.

Perhaps y'all just want to believe Sanji can dog walk a Seraphim without "turning on" those enhancements while his captain and counterpart are faring considerable worse in 2v1s.

It's a nice thought, but that's all it likely is.

Sanji has been in a heightened emotional state every time the flips happen. That doesn't mean anger and only anger.

He hasn't been in a heightened emotional state every time he demonstrated the speed or exoskeleton.

I don't know where you get off accusing me of ignoring shit when I'm the only one in this thread looking at the entirety of context, not cherry-picking what suits me.

Sanji was pretty calm aura farming against s-shark imo getting hit

Heightened emotions doesn't have to mean he's losing his mind. It doesn't even have to mean anger. I think when he protected Bonney from Kizaru, he wasn't moving off anger, he was moving out of love.

We know how Sanji gets about Nami in particular.

He doesn't lose control but he gets angry.

Spoiler: Wanji

He was angry at the cat when it was after Nami, so the eyebrow was flipped.

He wasn't angry when he hit it again, and the eyebrow was normal and stayed normal in the volume release.

Sure bit in that scene its usual sanji who always wears his heart up his sleeve.
Could be a oda inconsistency but by that logic to me he should have his eyebrow flipped, including this chapter prior tot the attack as he upsets that NPCham is a racist

Sanji feeling emotions doesn't mean he's in a heightened emotional state every time, or to the degree where the flip happens.

Clearly there are levels to it.

Notice how he threatened to break Killingham's helmet, not take his fucking life.

Well ok but than its to arbiraty for me to determine it reliably, at least to me

EMOTIONS ARE ARBITRARY

Yes? but you are trying to make a claim with "this when and when sanjis eye brows flip", proclaiming there is a pattern
If your criteria is arbitary so is the whole thing

The pattern is in the heightened emotions being present when the flip is present.

Do you think Sanji tanked Nusjuro’s bite without his exoskeleton?

Do you think Oda missed the correction in volume release of 1129 even though he’s answered several SBS (7, 84 and 105) questions about it and is aware fans are paying attention?

Is there any logic to Sanji’s CHANGED GENETICS gives him permanent super speed but NOT the rest like his exoskeleton, muscles or healing ability?

It’s like y’all can’t keep more than one piece of evidence in your minds at once.

Look at the TOTALITY OF CONTEXT already.

Broski you gotta taking the piss.
Main difference between Sanji and his siblings aesthetically was the eyebrows which was an indication that Sanji's super genes hadn't been awakened yet. When he awakened his genetic abilities on Wano his bloody eye brows flipped serving as a visual indication of is gene awakening.

This is SBS 105 with Oda telling us the obvious.

Since Wano Sanji seems to be able to voluntarily change the shape of his eyebrows with the shape of his eyebrows taking the Germa shape when is using Ifrit in particular which computes as Ifrit was born from Sanji combining his armament with his exoskeleton.
- Sanji's eyebrows were in the Germa shape when he defeated Queen with his super abilities.
- Sanji's eyebrows were in the Germa shape when he attacked Luffy alongside Franky and Bonney in that gag scene on Egghead
- Sanji's eyebrows were in the Germa shape when he attacked the Cat/Lion beast to save Nami alongside Luffy and Zoro at the start of the Elbaf arc.

Then there's situations were Sanji is manifesting the exoskeleton in which he has his eyebrows flipped.
This was the case when he blocked S-Shark's punch

So it doesn't really take a genius to figure out that Sanji's eyebrows change when he's manifesting his Germa abilities.

The examples you posted are very speculative.
For instance the example you gave with Sanji destroying Road's net alongside Zoro was not named so it's not obvious that he's using Ifrit Jambe. Even the example you gave with Nasujuro biting Sanji and him not showing any notable physcial damage in the panels after is not really clear either. Even if Sanji was not using the exoskeleton in that moment, he posseses enhanced healing abilities in Germa mode so all it'd take to heal that bite damage is to switch back into his germa mode and he'd be as good as new.

To go even a step further we have panels of Sanji attacking S-Shark with his eyebrows filpped and not and there is a clear difference in showings in both cases. He absolutely shit stomped S-Shark with his eyebrows flipped.

So this notion that there is no evidence for Sanji's eyebrows flipping when he's in a Germa mode is asinine.

Again the eyebrow flip serves as a visual indicator that Sanji is using his exo abilities which is a good ting as it tells the users when he's using it and ths is a common theme in fiction in general. There are visual indicators to tell the viewers that a character is using a particular form. Is the case in DBZ with the super saiyan forms and Gohan's ultimate form. Same with Luffy's Gears and Zoro's Ashura.

If there are a few scenes where Sanji seems to be using his exo abiltiies without his eyebrow flipped then it is most likely a drawing goof from Oda or his team.

The notion that you think Sanji's eyebrows simply flip based on mood is more logical than the above is insane to me.

There's also one thing I think folks are missing here. You lot that think the eyebrows switching don't indicates switching in and out of Germa mode, do y'all think Sanji is always in Germa mode? Coz if so how do you think Sanji navigates a potential Black Maria type siutation in the future or Nami smacking him?

You think Sanji who cannot even activate his haki to block a punch from a woman out of fear of hurting her would be okay mentally fi his exo is active 24/7?

The lack of logic in it is the point. Judges doctors told Judge that no medicine could rewrite the dna they altered, yet Sanji was born human.

So there is historical context of Sanjis germa powers being deactivated despite the lack of scientific sense. Not to mention Oda himself directly connects the eyebrow switch to the germa exoskeleton and boosts in SBS as well.

Its petty obvious that the eyebrow flip meams Sanji activates his genes. It makes no sense that Oda explicitly states that the eyebrow flip was thr sign that activates his latent genes and then draw them reversed after the fight. If the eyebrow flip is noted to be the result of his activated genes why does it revert. Also Sanji being colder in this form is more akin to Goku in SSJ3 where he becomes more direct and less goofy. Doesnt mean that going into SSJ3 only gives Goku a change in personality. The change in personality is part of the modifications. So when the eyebrow flips he gains all the mods. When its not he doesnt. Also Sanji surviving Nusjuro's bite is literally nothing but Sanji's natural durability. Sanji has tanked blades, sword slashes, crushing blows before the germa mods and you think he would be affected by a horse biting him. Come on now! The impossibility of toggling your genes is due to Sanji invoking the power of love. It allows for you to surpass the limits of your body which is why Kuma could move, which is why Inuppe's could resist Absolom's commands and is the power that allows Sanji to retain his humanity and control over his genetics.

I’m not gonna keep going back and forth with you retarded cunts.

Y’all keep ignoring the questions you cannot answer because you bitches move off wishful thinking, not evidence.
