Thank God we didn't get Sommers...from all the opponents Sanji and Zoro faced, he is by FAR the most pathetic. It's hard to put it in words how embarrassing he is...
Starting to cry, scream and stop fighting mid fight is crazy...

KH you can see, would get also low diffed by Sanji if he could hurt him, but KH while being turned to shreds, uses that to directly counter attack. We will have to see how it will look like once Sanji gets CoC and KH realizes that Sanji can hurt him now, but i hope that KH would stil stay confident and fight Sanji head on.
Would be dope if KH in his last attempt does a huge attack, but Sanji goes right through his attack and KH himself, defeating/killing him.

So far KH looks good against a mentaly nerfed Sanji, he actualy looks competent unlike the other bum...

Typically when Sanji wins a fight, it's by overwhelming force.

I anticipate he will awaken Conqueror's Haki in 1196 and defeat Killingham in 1197.

With his final combo, Sanji will launch Killingham up to the Heaven Realm, becoming the first Strawhat to see it, and arrive on an answer for Gaban.

Sanji will declare himself the King of the Heavens (or Skies) and send Killingham plummeting back down to the ground, where his metal heart will shatter upon impact.

Yup real test for Kiringham is gonna be to see how well he can fight once he loses his invulnerability advantage. King was shook when he lost that to Zoro but still stood his ground. Kat was shook when Luffy started being able to counter his FS but he stood his ground regardless. Even if he’s shook I do think he has it in his locker to stand his ground with the combat ability he showed this chapter and his summons. With Longinus he should be able to fight Sanji mid-long range & he can also utilize his summons to put a wall between he & Sanji if he knows he’s going to get cooked in close combat but again we’ll see. Was surprised at how well he fought this chapter. Long may it continue 💀

Also just re-read the chapter and I don’t know if anyone else has been able to draw this parallel but I do find it quite interesting that Oda’s been highlighting Sanji’s durability & endurance throughout this encounter with Kiringham.

In the same vein you have Zoro & Sommers where Zoro’s completely dominating Sommers with Zoro cutting through Sommers like butter with the later constantly highlighting how dangerous he is.

So feels like Oda is writing a Sword / Shield type parallel here with Zoro and Sanji.

I do wonder if this is going to bleed into whatever type of Conqueror Sanji ends up becoming:Think:
In Sanji's mind all of those decisions he made were made with the resolve to protect the crew even at the cost of his life which isfine but I think the problem is that even if he doesn't resalize it himself he subconiosuly views himself as disposable.

"As long as I can protect these guys my life is a cheap price to pay" so rather than a "disposable" shield Sanji has to become an "unbreakable" shield instead. Sanji doesn't necessarily have to change that part of him, he just has realize just how valuable he is.

That's a really good catch! Especially since Luffy normally fights with his fists, so he doesn't really have a shield and a sword in a traditional, literal way. Making Sanji and Zoro his shield and sword is quite poetic. It also kind of explains why both are equally important while giving each of them specialisation. So, in term of damage power, Sanji is less dangerous than Zoro, because well, it's easier to kill with a sword rather than with a shield, but in terms of durability he's stronger. I like that! Thanks for sharing the observation!
