Correct because in the flashback he learns that the correct way of using Enma is to give it as much CoA as it wants…
which then becomes a problem because Zoro has to produce that amount of CoA FOR HIS OTHER SWORDS TOO.
btw, your headcanon that Enma sucks out all the haki itself implies that Enma doesn’t get the haki it wants, right?
your headcanon is that Zoro is giving the haki Enma wants to his other swords, meaning he’s not actually giving Enma the haki it wants, he’s siphoning it away to his other swords… Which is the opposite of what the flashback was about
the flashback was about Enma’s creator saying Enma is supposed to get all the haki itself wants or else it freaks out… So, Enma got all the haki it wanted… And then Zoro had to do that for his other two swords
