He likely went down cuz luffy and harajun heard someone screaming in underworld.

I though nami will be the only one with luffy to have void century hype
but i guess its only zoro(if imu mention ryuma ) and luffy

but idk how oda is going to connect ryuma to joyboy/davy or anyone 800 years ago
as far as we know ryuma fought alone
