Hajrudin proves powercreep exists so idk why you’re still pushing this
hajrudin was always insanely physically strong and people have no idea how to powerscale things like sucker punches or characters being exhausted or w/e (like dorry and broggy being "mr 3 victims" and getting "unexplained powerups" when the first time we saw them they had been fighting for 100 straight years and had broken weapons)

It ALSO SOUNDS LIKE FUTURE SIGHT. HE STILL NEEDS COC.
It would be too many powerups at once, dont you think? It could also be a setup for a future powerups. When Sanji's speed fails him and he is unable to edge his attacks and taking damage, he can unlock future sight because he needs to avoid the damage. Hell, It might even happen with Killingham. Future Sight + CoC is overkill for one fight, let alone one arc.

Say what you will about the concept, but Conqueror's Haki is at least something that has been seen regularly in the series. UI was something Toriyama made decades later with not one single build-up of it as a concept.
Toriyama was one of the all time greats but no one has ever praised him for "consistency" or "lore" or "writing". he's a master of paneling and action and comedy but he never once gave a single shit about power systems or remembering characters he wrote or any details of the worlds he created

The name of it in Japanese, Haou, well the "Ha" part of it is taken from Chinese, where it's called "Ba" and this word was used to describe the Five Hedgemons during the Spring and Autumn Period of the Later Zhou Dynasty. The "Ba" were the premier noble of the time, basically ruling over the, by that time, figurehead King, and making sure the Dynasty went smoothly. But it wasn't five men simultaneously, it was in succession.

If it was simply just "Oushoku" or "King's Haki", I think it would be a bit simpler. But to be a Supreme King, well, that feels like it really should only be one or two people alone. A lord of kings, essentially.
I don't know about the first part, but technically "Oushoku" 王色 means "king color" or "royal color"
