Character Discussion Characters you came to unexpectedly like

For me, it is Sentomaru. I just thought he'd be a small-time antagonist upon his first appearance... and then Vegapunk happened, and he suddenly shot up to be one of my favorite characters.

If we're talking about OP, it's Brook. Was my least fav SH, started getting points after TS, was amazing in WCI and since, and now is comfortably in my top 5 among SHP.

- Franky! I didn't care for him at first but I've really come to like him. Brook too.

- Kuma and Sento are pretty cool.

- Akainu, first exposure was through the anime so I was unimpressed, started liking him way more after reading MF in the manga. I had always liked Kuzan, Fuji and Kizaru from the start but not him.

- Rocks, Harald, Loki and GV Kaido as well, wasn't expecting them to be as cool as they were.

I should probably also add Kizaru. I didn't care about him at all, he was always overshadowed by Akainu and Aokiji. But Egghead gave him a lot of focus, and now he's my fav admiral.

Oh yeah, I came to like Bege as well, didn't expect that on his introduction, was more inclined to like Law and X Drake.
X Drake still has potential, but was a disappointment in Wano compared to Bege in WCI.

Yeah, same here. From early descriptions he seem to be like Blackbeard, but he turned out to be a really cool guy in the end.

I should probably also add Kizaru. I didn't care about him at all, he was always overshadowed by Akainu and Aokiji. But Egghead gave him a lot of focus, and now he's my fav admiral.

Well, I can't say he is my favorite admiral (that would be Fujitora), but I sure like him a lot more than I did before. Though I always did like him - his airheadedness is fun.
